Alongside these visual presentations, the following guidance document will work as a tick list approach to risk assessment and effective risk management.

While the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS, 2017) does not require written risk assessments, a lot of childminders and group providers have asked us for a written document which they can use to help them focus on the most important aspects of their future risk assessment roles and responsibilities.

Please note that this guidance may be updated in the future, as Government advice is constantly changing and new risks related to the effects of coronavirus are evolving. We urge our members to only use trusted sources of information such as Public Health England and the gov.uk websites.
