Child Neglect

Course Description

This programme on child neglect is suitable for those who have already completed basic child protection training, and is written to raise awareness so that children who may be experiencing neglect can be helped.

The purpose of the course is to raise your awareness of neglect and help you to understand the factors that may contribute to it. We will consider the signs and indicators of neglect to help you recognise it and look at what action you should take to report it. Finally, there is advice on how you can support a child or young person who is experiencing neglect.
