Our little boy, Thomas, has been with Kate since he was 9 months old, all the way till the age of 4. It was the best decision we could have made and Thomas has absolutely loved every minute that he’s spent in Kate’s care.
Kate is so kind and caring and has a genuine love for our little boy as does Thomas towards Kate. She has provided a beautiful home from home setting where Thomas has always felt safe, comfortable and loved, as if he were one of the family.
We’ve never missed a moment of Thomas growing up as Kate has always kept us well informed of his daily activities with daily updates and photos. She loves to get out and about and there have been many day trips to parks, national trust, woodland walks etc. Not to mention a fabulous garden setting to get out in daily.
We really feel Kate goes above and beyond what’s expected of her and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better person to care for our child. We think you’re amazing! Thank you for all the love, care and encouragement you’ve shown Thomas over the years.

Our little boy, Billy has been with Kate since September 2018. We couldn't wish for a better childminder. Kate is kind, gentle, nurturing and loving and our little boy absolutely loves her to bits. Every day is a new, exciting day full of fun, adventure and learning opportunities.
Billy has become part of the family and considers Kate's house his second home. She provides stimulating and engaging activities and loves to be out and about with the little ones; multi-sports, tots group, walks in the woods and even a trip to China Town for Chinese New Year are some of the fabulous experiences our little boy has had with Kate. Kate has happily catered for Billy's dairy allergy without any concerns and her home cooked meals are to die for!
Kate's genuine affection and love for our little boy is very apparent. As a teacher, I have high expectations when it comes to my children and I cannot recommend Kate highly enough. Although Ofsted graded Kate 'good' in their last inspection, in our eyes she is nothing short of outstanding!
Thank you so much for all you do for Billy...we think you are fabulous!

As soon as I met Kate I knew immediately that I wanted Kate to look after my daughter. My daughter has had her third session with Kate today, I am thrilled. Kate is a marvellous lady who is extremely caring, not only for my daughter but for me also. Kate saw how nervous and worried I was when I left my daughter for the first time. Kate kept me updated with photos and information on babys days and also sent me text messages. I felt very at ease. Kate has been very accommodating and goes the extra mile for us. I wanted a homely setting for my daughter as I found that nursery was a bit too intense for my daughter. Kate's setting is very homely and welcoming. My daughter was getting extremely upset at nursery but when I leave her with Kate she never gets upset to a level that is upsetting. I really couldn't recommend her more.

Kate looked after my two children (two school years apart) when my son was in reception / Year 1, and my daughter was at pre-school for two years.
She was brilliant at tailoring her activities and approach to the changing needs of my children, and understanding the different challenges at different stages of their development.
She created a home from home environment, with my children having freedom to do what they wanted, while also structuring activities to help them learn and develop.
All in all, a wonderful childminder who I would highly recommend if you want someone caring and creative and passionate about the children she looks after.
