Childminder of dreams!

We are so lucky to have found Samantha. Our daughter was with her for almost 3 years. We would have stayed with her forever if it wasn’t for our daughter starting school.
She has a great home setting which is full of toys and lots of fun activities. Samantha balances fun with learning really well. Lots of arts and crafts and days out (her allotment, the horniman museum, the beach, playgrounds, etc).
The most important thing was that Samantha is so warm and caring. Our daughter was always happy to go there and she felt like part of the family. Our daughter would call her “my mantha”.
I couldn’t recommend Samantha enough. We will miss her!!

Amazing!!!

Our daughter, Violet, started with Samantha after a bad experience with another childminder. With the previous childminder Violet would sob each day I dropped her off, begging me not to leave her. And then we found Samantha….

Violet settled with Samantha after day one, and since then has run into her house with a huge smile on her face (closing the door on me without so much as a backward glance!). Every morning we are greeted with enthusiasm, you can tell that Samantha loves looking after the children, it was so reassuring leaving Violet each day knowing she was happy and well cared for.

The setting is fantastic, the toys are age appropriate, fun and educational, and the food menu changes daily (always home cooked and healthy!). Outside of her home setting, Samantha arranges fantastic days out for the children (in their little hi-vis jackets), to beaches, museums, parks (to name a few), Violet always loved days out in Samantha’s car (fabulous minibus).

I felt that Samantha quickly became part of our family, Violet will miss her and I will too. We were so lucky to have found such a wonderful childminder in Samantha, she is kind, approachable, bubbly and down to earth, we honestly couldn’t have asked for better.

Samantha has Zizi & Tracy working with her too, and I should also mention that they too are wonderful, the ‘Couper Childcare Team’ are just fantastic, I cannot recommend them enough!

Fantastic childminder

Samantha started looking after my daughter when she was two years old. Samantha and her lovely team made the settling-in process very smooth, calm and trustworthy. My daughter settled in very quickly and was always looking forward to go there. Samantha always plans amazing activities both indoor and outdoor, always focusing on your child's physical and mental development. The best part is that I could follow and see how my daughter is spending her day through the lovely photos and videos that Samantha shared which would bring a big smile on my face when at work having a busy and stressful day. My daughter was a picky eater and she learned how to eat on her own at Samantha and started trying and liking new food. My daughter loved the playtime with other children, storytimes and going out at Samantha's allotment to feed the chickens. Also, Samantha has always been very flexible with us. She has always accommodated herself to our needs and for that I can never thank her enough. I will always be recommending Samantha for her outstanding care but also for being so approachable and a great listener. Samantha and her team were like family for us. She has always been so devoted, you can clearly see her love for children.

Home away from home

Samantha is like my daughter's comforter. Knowing my child is loved and cared by her while I am away is a blessing for my family. She is amazing with kids, always full of energy. Kids are well engaged with her doing various craft activities, outdoors parks and beaches, forest school. All her assistants and herself are very attentive and lead with the best manners which i can see my daughter has learned from them.
I am still struggling to make my daughter understand that she will have to stop going Samantha from now. But Knowing Samantha for the person she is if any day we want to go back to her she will welcome my LO with open arms.
For a first time parents like us she was a savior :)

Excellent!

Samantha is a fantastic childminder! My children really loved being looked after by her and had a lot of fun in her setting. They particularly enjoyed the fun activities she arranged after school and looking after the chickens at Samantha’s allotment. My son was 8 months old when he started with her and it was reassuring to see how affectionate and caring she was with him as it made it a lot easier to return to work. He was very happy and thrived in her setting.
Samantha has collected both of my children from school for several years and I found her to be great at communicating any news or issues from their day. Samantha also looked after both children in the holidays and they really enjoyed the day trips she organised to local areas.
Both my son and daughter were very comfortable in her setting and very much thought of her house as a second home. They both miss her lots!
I would wholeheartedly recommend Samantha as a childminder.

Fantastic childminder, recommended to anyone!

Samantha was our 1st childminder to our 1 year old boy. Our son absolutely loved her, and all her assistants, and fit in really well and really quickly to the setting. Samantha sent us pictures throughout the day, showing how much fun he was having and we got a lovely summary of his day/ what he ate/ naps etc. in his diary which we loved coming home to and reading!

He was taken out regularly to parks, play groups
animal centres and soft plays and also had a healthy balance of indoor play and arts and crafts. We loved the imagination that went into the activities that he did. He was really loved and always happy to see Samantha's friendly face in the morning. Samantha made delicious home made food every day which he devoured.

We were really upset to have to move after 6 months as we moved out the area. We would have stayed forever if we could have done! Samantha and her team will be sorely missed, but in the short space of time they looked after our son, we are hugely grateful for the love, affection and time they showed him.

Fantastic Childminder

Samantha and her assistants had our Son with them for a year and I can honestly say he had the best time. His development from 1-2 years came on rapidly and we were regularly updated. Being able to visit the allotment was a lovely perk and they were often out for the day on various excursions. Our family were really sad to leave and our son often asks about Samantha, her assistants and the children. Couldn’t recommend Samantha enough, we are very grateful for all she has done for us.

A nurturing and thoughtful home-from-home

Samantha has been caring for our daughter since she was 13 months old. They have provided a nurturing and thoughtful home-from-home environment that we have always been happy to leave our daughter in while we are at work. Our daughter loves going to feed the chickens at the the allotment, groups and outings to the seaside, parks and local attractions. We've enjoyed getting photographs sent to us showing us what they get up to during the day and Samantha uses a website that documents her experiences as well as monitors her development. More recently, Samantha and her assistant, Jojo have supported our daughter surrounding the birth of our son. They met with us to consider how we could all support her in a caring and consistent way, offering us peace of mind that her emotional needs are being carefully considered. We are very pleased with our decision to send our daughter to Samantha's and our son will be joining her there when I return to work.

Warm and loving childminder

Samantha is a loving and warm-hearted childminder who looks after my son Jacob since he was 2.5 years old. Jacob developed an incredible bond with Samantha almost instantly after she started looking after him. She is like Jacob’s own nana who he loves and enjoys spending his days with. As a working mum, it’s so reassuring when I see Jacob runs in her place very happily in the morning. Her location is also very convenient for working parents who need to travel to central London which is an added bonus.

Excellent Childminder

Samantha minded our son since he was 4 years old and for 4 years. She did after school collection and also minded him during the school holidays. We liked her setting and also liked the fact that she took the children to museums, parks, play areas, seasides, Christmas tree farms, etc. where children could explore, learn and have fun during school holidays. We had confidence in her and grateful that we found her. We were happy with her services and the quality of care. My son had a wonderful time whilst in her care. She’s excellent!
