My Experience

I have lots of experience working with primary school aged children in the classroom- I have taught from reception to year 5.

My most recent nannying job was looking after a boy from the age of 8 months until he was 18 months, when I left to have my own child.

I have experience of babysitting a number of different children in the past, both overnight and during weekends / school holidays; including a brother and sister aged 8 and 10 for around a year, a boy aged 2 for around 18 months (and eventually, his brother from the age of 10 months), and 2 sets of twins aged 2 and 4 for around 5 months. I have always been left in sole charge of the children I have looked after, and have experience of changing nappies etc. I have experience babysitting for an 18 month old girl on an ad hoc basis, and was required to prepare an evening bottle and do the bedtime routine. I have experience of looking after newborns from the age of 3 weeks - although this was not paid for babysitting, but helping out a family member.

A few summers ago I was a nanny for a brother and sister aged 8 and 11 during the holidays, which involved preparing meals, arranging activities within the home and also trips out. Last summer I looked after another brother and sister pair, aged 3 and 9.

I have previously worked as a child minding assistant 2 days per week and help to look after children from the age of 8 months up to 6 years old, and have recent experience looking after babies from the age of 4 months old.

My Qualifications

I have a DBS.

A degree in Educational Studies.

PGCE.

Holder of CYPOP5.

Holder of Paediatric first aid certificate.

My Availability

I am currently available as a nanny, preferably part time 3 or 4 days.

I am also available for occasional weekend babysitting.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
• Nannying from £12.00 per hour (gross)
