Highly recommend

We have known Trina for the past two years when she started looking after our older son. He was one year old when he started and settled in straight away. With her warm and loving personality she won his heart. We were impressed with Trina right from the beginning, particularly the way she engaged with our son. She followed his lead rather than imposing herself and our son quickly warmed to her.
Trina has a natural warmth and empathy which I think makes her stand out in her capacity to care for children. I was always impressed by how calm she is and how well behaved all children are in her care. She teaches them respect and boundaries in a kind and gentle manner.
She is knowledgeable about child development and safeguarding of children. Trina keeps up with her personal development by taking evening courses and webinars and offers advice when asked. She worked closely with us during our older son’s potty training and followed our lead.
She plans frequent activities taking into account the needs of every child. These include trips to parks, farms, museums, indoor soft plays, and music classes. During rainy days, she prepares activities at home: messy play, singing and dancing, reading and learning or our son’s favourite; building a gigantic train track in a hallway. In the summer, they had paddling pool and even a bouncy castle in the garden. She risk assesses every activity to make sure children are safe but this does not stop her from giving children fun and stimulating day.
Her house is always clean and her garden is a safe and fun place for children to let off some steam.
Trina has also looked after our son overnight. She kindly offered to take care of him when I went into a labour and we have never doubted our son was in good hands and well looked after.
Trina is now looking after our younger son who is now 11 months. She makes sure the house is safe for his exploration and plans activities appropriate for his age. She prepares healthy home cooked meals.
She is justifiably confident in her care of the children, yet communicates promptly if she has any concerns. She keeps a diary of everything our son does and learns during the week which makes the whole settling in period for us easier.
Trina has been unfailingly reliable in her availability and flexibility for as long as we have known her.
In short we have found her a wonderful carer for our sons, someone who has contributed a great deal to their development into happy young boys over the last two years, and a friend to them who they love very much.

Great Childminder

Trina started child-minding our 2 children nearly 3 years ago after she came very highly recommended. From the moment I met her, I knew that she was a genuinely kind and gentle lady. Our son was in primary school and our daughter was only 7 months old. Our kids settled in really well from the get-go as Trina provides a lovely home. Her gentle personality made us very comfortable leaving our precious kids in her care.

She has one-to-one interaction with the children, which is very important to us. She pays attention to the children's development and is always on hand to answer any questions. She always provides balanced meals for the children. Her house is always clean. One very admirable characteristic of Trina's is her gentle yet firm personality. She instills discipline in the children by teaching them to be polite, share and take turns with toys or books. She takes the children out to playgroups and farms. She provides fun activities such as crafts at home too.

What I loved the most was that she kept a ‘diary’ for our daughter to show us what she had eaten, where they went, how long her nap was and when she did or said new words. She also took pictures of her which she put in her diary. This really helped us know more about how our daughter was spending her day. It also re-assured us that she was in very good care and having fun. This I found was her unique style of child-minding.

And when she picks up our son after school, she provides after-school activities and meals too. She's very good with children of all ages.

Trina is reliable, trustworthy and passionate about what she does. Our children absolutely love and adore her.

Thank you for all the care and love you have given to our children, Trina. We are full of gratitude.

Excellent Childminder

We have used Trina as our childminder for two of our children over the last 8 years or so, one of our children has special educational needs and learning difficulties and we were very pleased with the way Trina has worked with these issues, and she has attended courses specific to these needs. Our son (with special needs & is now 12) still likes going to Trina and we are always made to feel very welcome. We cannot fault the service Trina has provided over the years, and would very much recommend her as an excellent child care provider.

Excellent Childminder

Trina takes care of my now 5year old son for the past 9 months. Trina provides an excellent care, getting them engaged in art and craft, outdoor activities and day trips. She provides healthy and delicious meal and my son always look forward to going to her. She communicates well and always keep me informed with any changes or activities at my son's school. She is such a pleasant person and provide such love and care to my son.

My daughter has been looked after by Trina for last 2 years. Trina is extremely experienced and nurtures each child according to their developmental stage and character. As a paediatrician( child doctor) myself, I am constantly amazed at Trina's aptitude with developmental stages in childhood and how she manages to bring out the best in each child while facilitating their group play and communication with each other. Children thrive in her care and she makes each one of them feel'special'. She is always exercising them outdoors, making them use their imagination indoors and involves them in fun activities like arts and crafts, cooking parties etc. She is reliable, energetic, honest and the kids love her and want to keep going 'back' even when they have graduated- the best compliment!

Fantastic childminder

Trina has been a fantastic childminder to my little boy who is now almost 5. Tyler has been in Trina's care for just over 2 and a half years now. And he has always enjoyed going to her house.
Trina has been fantastic with Tyler, as he has extra support for speech therapy, and he has really come out of himself and progressed since he has been going to Trina's. She tended to his individual need and dedicated her time to encourage and help him along and gain confidence in moving his speech up to where it should be. His progressed so much :-) Tyler has a wonderful bond with Trina which is so lovely to see. He feels secure there too which as a mother is what you need when you have to leave you children in childcare. She's very flexible, if ever i run late she will hang onto Tyler and give him dinner it would never be a problem, she is always willing to help you whenever you need it. Trina is such a lovely, kind and caring person and is so natural and wonderful with the children she looks after, she genuinely cares about each and everyone of them. Trina has plenty of activities, arts and crafts and educational toys available for every age, and a lovely big garden, complete with a sandpit and trampoline. Trina enjoys giving the children great parties too, for example she has just held a fantastic halloween party, she really makes such an effort with the decorations and games and gives the kids a great time. Even though Tyler is now in 'big' school he still goes to Trina's every thursday and also in half terms and holidays, and he looks forward to it so much as he asks everyday if his going! Trina is a fantastic person and childminder and i would strongly recommend her. Thank you so much for everything Trina!

Excellent childminder!!!

Trina is a wonderful, loving, caring and dedicated Childminder, very kind and helpful from the first time I spoke to her.
Trina was taking care of my 4 year old son Nataniel after school for about 7 months. At that time Nataniel was attending a school nursery for 3 hours a day and Trina was picking him up from school at midday very day.
Discovering Trina was such a blessing as it had been very difficult to find a childminder who would do a nursery pick ups in the Cassiobury area. And even though our school was not one of her most local schools,Trina agreed to help me out. We started with only three days a week, but in the short period of time Trina was able to accommodate to my needs and just a week later she was looking after my son full time.
Nataniel loved going to Trina's. He bonded well with her and made good friendships with other children in her care. He felt safe and well cared for. He enjoyed tasty, freshly prepared food and many different activities every day.
Even though Nataniel is not in Trina's care at the moment as he started a "big school" now, Trina invited him to join all his "old" friends at the Halloween Party later this month.
Trina is an excellent childminder and I highly recommend her. If I ever need a childcare again or evening sitter in the future it will definitely be Trina.

Trina has been looking after my 2-year-old boy Jonathan for about 10 months while we were living in Watford. She has been such a great help, we didn't have any problems, concerns and Jonathan was always very happy to go to 'Trina's'. Trina has developed a good healthy relationship with him and he was always happy with her even in the very first weeks when we just started. We were surprised how he was not crying to go there and we could leave him with Trina in peace and concentrate on work the whole day.
Trina has a lovely private garden where there is plenty of space and activities for children. She takes them regularly to parks, trips to watch animals and other interesting things for little ones. It was very important for me that my boy gets exercise, healthy meals and develops good communication skills with others, which Trina perfectly achieved. He became more confident in his speech and found many good friends of his age. Trina organizes birthday parties and other good-bye parties too which make the children feel important and loved.

Trina looked after my 8 year old son and 17 month old daughter whilst I was in hospital.
She had them for both day and overnight care.
I found Trina to be very caring and reliable and she really made my children very happy and content during their time with her.
I wouldn't hesitate to use Trina again should the need arise because upon meeting her I could tell she was just a natural with children and I had full confidence in her ability to provide the best care for my children in my absence.
She caters for each child on an individual basis and has many stimulating activities and toys to keep each one entertained and occupied as much as possible.
Trina also has a lovely caring nature and both my children had a lovely time with.
