Our daughter is nearly 2.5 and has been with Shazia since around 11months old. Our daughter is sensitive to loud sounds and new people and we were nervous about settling in. This was a huge change for our tiny baby - and for us! - who had been together so closely throughout her 'locked-down' early life.

Settling in was tough for us and took a long time. Shazia did lots to ensure the best approach for our daughter and was caring and communicative throughout.

Shazia provides a lovely range of activities, sends photos - especially in the early days of settling in and spends time in the nearby garden and visits the children's centre. She has been supportive of potty training and is generally very understanding and supportive of anything new going on.

Shazia's assistant and daughter Amina is also an incredibly talented and kind provider, who uses her intuition well. She has formed a strong bond with our little one and has great communication and emotional intelligence.

It's really nice that Shazia's grown up children are around too. Our LO has come home with the most beautiful plaits in her hair, which was gorgeous to see and think how calming that must be for her to sit for that!

Food is great at Shazia's, home cooked meals with a variety of fruit, vegetables, curries and rice. Our daughter loves all the food and is catered for brilliantly with snacks too. Shazia respects the wishes of no junk food etc.

Shazia's house is always incredibly clean, which is very admirable!

Whenever I have been in early to collect my daughter, I love to see how the other children interact. They are happy and sociable, forming a very cute bond between them.

We will be moving on from Shazia's now our daughter is older and we are moving areas.

The biggest thank you to Shazia and her family for creating a home away from home for our little one and for understanding and flexibility through tough times.
