Our son has been with Emma for more than six months and we couldn't be happier with the way she looks after him.
From settling-in, to policies and daily routines, Emma's communication has been excellent. She logs all events (food, nappies, naps) in a book for a quick daily handover. She tailors her care to the needs of each child and supports development of new skills. Emma is patient and kind, and has a positive attitude. The activities she provides are varied and involve lots of time out and about. We love that there are weekly play sessions with other childminders and children, as well as trips to parks, forests, museums, etc.
With Emma, our son has lots of exposure to new and different experiences, always in a caring and supportive environment. Most importantly, he is so happy when he is with Emma. We can see that all of the children in her care adore her, and that's the best review of all!
We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Emma to any parents looking for an outstanding childminder.

Emma is fantastic with our little one and he loves his days with her and has really thrived. A loving environment, lots of trips out and about and freshly home cooked food are just some of the great things about Emma's setting. We would highly recommend her.

The title really says it all.
From the minute we began discussing leaving our daughter in her care Emma has been an incredible source of relief and support for us as new parents.
Her communication is stellar, her relationship with us as parents has been nothing short of saintly. She has been patient with us and worked with us to give our daughter the very best experience outside of our home.
Her relationship with our daughter has been great too. She is filled with joy when we drop her off and looks very much at home when we pick her up. Again her communication about how our daughter has spent the day is incredibly beneficial and it's really a very stress-free relationship that we couldn't be more happy with.
Emma encouraged our daughter's developmental needs and also filled her time with visits to local baby groups and trips to outdoor spaces such as parks. We see how positively this has affected our child as she now enjoys going on trips with us with ease.
We are sad to say goodbye and wish her nothing but the best. You and your child cannot be in better hands with Emma. Thank you so much for all your help and hard work. Our daughter will miss you.

Our daughter loves Emma and being in her care. It's clear that they have bonded very quickly and our little one has the confidence to explore and grow with Emma.
Emma ran a very smooth settling in period for our daughter which helped her (and us the parents) to feel comfortable and confident very early on. She has a small in home setting which our daughter finds very safe and reassuring. She also works closely with other local childminders to give the children a much wider range of experiences than would be possible in a purely in home setting, such as regular larger group play sessions in the local community hall, forest school trips to museums/events etc.
Our daughter loves Emma's dog, which is very friendly. We're very happy that she has the opportunity to be around such a happy pet.
Emma is a lovely person and great childminder. She communicates clearly, is easy to contact and responds in good time. She is flexible in terms of covering additional days when required, as well as pick up / drop off times. In terms of admin and logistics she is straight forward and very easy to work with.

Finding Emma was the best thing that has happened to us. Our little boy started going to Emma three days a week at 10 month, and from the very first day we met he settled straight away with Emma. Her upbeat nature, and excellent care has helped our shy little one to comes out of his shell, becoming a happy playful toddler. We communicate on a daily basis, and Emma always makes sure we are well informed about our child's day, his food and drink intake, and his development. She takes the children out to a variety of activities, enabling them to play and explore. At home, she encourages the children to learn new skills, to laugh, to sing, and to have a fun time.
As I come back to work, Emma's support and flexibility meant I always have peace of mind that my son is safe, being well taken care off, and is happy when he's away from me. On days when we were caught up in urgent situations, Emma fed, changed, and got my son all ready for his bedtime before dropping him off to us. As a mother I'm very grateful for her care and dedication.
On top of that, my little one has developed a fond relationship with Arthur Henry (the bulldog), who he sees as a sibling. Often when I come to pick him up, he would be laughing and playing with Arthur, who is such a playful gentle soul. I believe that his relationship with Arthur is greatly important as part of his social development with other adults, children, and animals.
Emma has truly created an environment where my kid and others are safe, and are thriving in their own unique capacity.

I would highly recommend Emma to any family.My 2 year old daughter enjoyed staying with her. Emma is professional, kind and great with children. She takes children to all activities and keep them entertained. Also, my daughter is a fussy eater, but she enjoyed Emma’s food. Overall, Emma is amazing childminder .

Emma has looked after our daughter since she was 9 months old. She has been very welcoming to us from day one.
Emma has always been supportive and helpful, especially with the difficult start we have had with our daughter.
She has made sure that my daughter with additional needs always felt included and has greatly supported her development over the time. My daughter enjoyed the activities, trips, groups and specially forest school during her time with Emma and am sure will really miss seeing her.

Emma has been child minding my daughter since she started school two years ago and I could not have asked for a better childminder. She is thoughtful, caring and has bundles of patience. The children at Emma's are always having lots of fun and being well looked after. Emma has a great way of being firm with children without making them upset and is always encouraging learning.
Emma keeps me informed about what my daughter has been up to, what shes eaten and how her afternoon has been. She notices when my daughter is not herself and makes sure she shares this with me. I completely trust Emma with my daughter. My daughter is completely relaxed with Emma and has never made any complaints about being in her care.
Emma is professional, well organised, has excellent communication, and has accommodated last minute requests on a number of occasions. She has great relationships with school teachers and parents and has been very helpful at times such as passing messages to teachers when I haven't been able to and reminding me about school events! She has a clean and comfortable home. There is often a smell of yummy home cooked food too!!

Emma has been childminding our daughters (age 6 and 9) for the last two years and we are so pleased with the excellent care that she provides. Emma is very thoughtful, caring, has a great understanding of children, provides fun activities, makes delicious meals, she’s flexible reliable and easy to talk to. Her home is child friendly, comfortable and safe. We would highly recommend Emma.

Emma has provided childminding care for my now 2 year old son since he was 9 months. I completely trust Emma with my little boy and couldn’t ask for a kinder, more reliable and caring childminder. She is highly professional yet strikes the perfect balance of fun and discipline for my son. She has never called in sick, always put the children and parents needs first I trust her completely.
She takes the children to playgroups, educational activities, forest school and all sorts of wonderful things. Through providing constant updates with his progress, a trusting client relationship, I would more than recommend Emma to provide childcare services.

Emma has looked after my 3 year old girl for over 2.5 years, she also provides occasional care for my 6 year old son. My children adore her, they are always eager to go with her and always return happy, they do different activities every day; playgroups, forest school, museums, cinema, soft play etc. She is very professional and both reliable and flexible. She works alongside a network of other Childminder’s whom she has arranged to care for my children whilst she is on holiday etc. I would totally recommend her.

Emma is now caring for my daughter. I was really happy to find she had availability and my daughter really enjoys her time with Emma and her other mindees. I get regular updates and am 100% confident in her care for my daughter, who is verbal and reports back on her fun days out. If anyone has any questions or wants to talk to me I am happy to do so. Emma is highly recommended.

Our 2yr old son has been looked after by Emma for the last year and has come on in leaps and bounds during this time. He is always happy to be with her and from the paintings and handmade crafts he comes home with, he always has a fun packed day.
Emma attends lots of playgroups, park get-togethers and social outings with other childminders and children, so our son gets the best of both worlds - a busy, interactive morning and then a quieter afternoon at home with more one-to-one time.
Emma has a really can-do, positive attitude and regardless of weather gets out and about as much as possible, making the most of the day.
We think of Emma as an extension of our family and would happily recommend her to anyone. Our son really loves Emma and thoroughly enjoys his time with her.

We were very pleased with Emma as a childminder. She got to know us very well as a family and spent time settling in our boy over a couple of months so that he felt safe and relaxed when he started. She provides a homely setting which our little boy enjoyed attending twice a week and offers lots of lovely experiences and varied activities for them to take part in. Meals were all provided (I have had to ask for recipes for many of the dinners- they are delicious!) and we were always given daily feedback on his day and how he has been. We would highly recommend Emma to anyone looking for a childminder.

Emma has (and still is) looking after my little boy (who is now 2 years old) for the best part of a year and a half and is extremely helpful and she is the best childminder I've ever met. Emma started childminding my children in 2012,my son 6 and my daughter who was 18 months old then.As a working mother I was looking for somebody who will look after my children 3 days a week from early as 7.15 am to 5 pm
After the first week my children spent in Emma's care while I was at work I realised she was exactly what I was looking for.My little one was very happy to stay at her house and my older son was looking forward every morning to go back to Emma's and stay few hours after school.
Emma is friendly,down to earth,polite and full of amazing ideas how to entertain children,she always communicate in a very calm manner and pays very good attention to every child needs.
Emma's house is full of age appropriate toys and books.And as I my daughter was only 18 months old she used to have her naps in a baby cot as I requested.
3 years on I had my 3rd child and after my maternity leave Emma started childminding her when she was 8 months old.My baby daughter same as my other children loves staying in Emma's care they do go out and play a lot to playgroups,library,baby soft play,museums,parks.
My baby daughter never shown any distress staying at Emma's in a morning or when I pick her up after work.
Children are always looking forward to see Emma,play with other children or Emma's daughters
I strongly recommend Emma as a childminder.
Lovely lady with an amazing understanding how to look after children to make them feel and be happy,healthy and the most important-Safe!

I was so lucky to find Emma to look after my children on my return to work in 2013. Emma looked after my boys (then 1 & 3) 2 days a week until I took time off work from May 2014. I was able to meet a few times to observe her at home and was really happy. She has a lovely, calm manner and I have never had any concerns over Emma looking after my children. She clearly likes the children in her care and gets to know them well.
Emma dropped and picked up my eldest from Pound Park nursery and was always on time. Emma had then over the holidays and was able to take then on full days as well as local excursions.
When I went back to work for a few months in 2014 Emma was my first choice of childcare provider and I was so pleased when she had a vacancy. My boys were happy to be back with Emma and her family.
Emma always has a good variety of snacks on hand and is flexible on choices (my boys love satsumas). The children have a lovely home cooked hot meal and a nap, when needed.
I always had good daily feedback on the boys' day and good communication about naps, nappy changes, meal times and how they were.
When I am not at work I see Emma out and about in town with a few children and have never seen anything that has concerned me. She's always someone I recommend to local parents as a childminder.
Emma is a lovely person and when we meet at playgroups my children like to spend time with her and her daughter.
I have no hesitations in recommending Emma as someone to look after your children. I'm happy to be contacted if you have any questions.
