I absolutely love working with children of all ages and needs. I want to help parents in Sheffield and Rotherham with their childcare needs hence my flexibility and affordable price.
My setting is a clean and tidy home setting. I take great pride in ensuring my setting is welcoming for families and children. When you reach my front door you will be greeted with smiles all round. You will drop your child off at the door and sign your child in. Your child will be welcomed to wash their hands before choosing their breakfast in the kitchen /dining area. Older children are encouraged to serve themselves. The living room is used for role play, small world, construction, sensory play, music and movement, ICT, stories and comfy area. The dining area is used for messy play, creative play, maths, literacy, mark making and problem solving, snacks and meals are served here also. We enjoy baking and cooking a variety of things which the children love to take home to enjoy with their family. My outdoor area is open all day in the summer and at various times throughout the day on cold and wet days. I have a mud kitchen area, sand ,water, bigger play equipment, ball games and sports, a table for maths, mark making, literacy and crafts and planters for children to expand their knowledge in UTW. Upstairs is not used. Nap times are welcome to take place in a pram, on a mat, on the sofa or in a travel cot, which ever is preferred.
When ever we are not in my setting children will be out expanding their development in all areas on days out whether this be indoors or outdoors.
Children will benefit from a wide variety of activities and experiences through play and days out. Older children will be encourage to complete homework and reading tasks with my support. I provide healthy nutritious meals that are fresh and home cooked. Children will also get the chance to help prepare snacks and meals. From the very 1st communication with Danielle, I was taken aback at her professionalism and caring nature.
Danielle was so accommodating of all my needs and went out of her way for me and my child
My child was so happy, settled and loved going there
I received photos and a summary of all the things she done throughout the day
On our final day with Danielle, she gave my child a little present which was by far the kindest gesture ever and shows her personality!
I would highly recommend Danielle to any parent
Thank you
Danielle has been looking after my 17 month son for the last 3 months on an ad hoc basis. She is an amazing mum and childminder and Oscar my son adores her. Danielle is always on-time, usually early and fazed by nothing so far. Always willing to learn new things, likes coming up with creative activities and happy to mirror our ways of caring for Oscar. She was the first person that Oscar has been left with and he hasn't cried for mummy.
