Fantastic

After a bad experience trying to settle my son into a nursery, I decided to use a childminder. I approached Karen after receiving a recommendation from a friend. My son is very sensitive and first started with Karen just after his 2nd birthday with a slight speech delay. The first week with Karen could not have gone better, Karen was very welcoming and patient… it took no time at all for my son to settle in. I immediately felt comfortable with Karen and soon my son was asking to go to her house. Karen takes the children out to toddler groups and has days out with visits to farms and local places/parks. My son is now a right chatter box and he has grown into a lovely boy with the help of Karen. Karen worked together with me to potty train and to get him to start to look after himself. My son went to Karen for a year and a half and we have left purely because we’re moving area otherwise he would still be going! My son always expressed having a lovely time with Karen and we will miss her very much!

Smashing!

Karen is just a brilliant childminder. My little boy started with Karen back in 2010 when I had to return to work and settled in extremely quickly and has always been very happy there. Karen takes the children out for all sorts of activities everyday, from soft play to farm visits. They also do a range of activities at her house and she has a nice garden for them to run around in during the Summer. Karen is reliable & flexible and always tries to meet your needs whatever they are :0)
