Fantastic Carer!

Megan started with us in June 2015 in the capacity of a nanny / carer to help with my daughters who were then 5 years old. Our house is a busy environment with triplet girls one of which has profound disabilities. Megan engaged immediately with the children.

Megan interacts incredibly well with children offering her full attention and listening to their needs. She is extremely adaptable and able to consider the level of need a child has and has demonstrated this through the excellent work she has done with my disabled daughter.

Megan is adept at engaging in all activities and focusing on the child centered approach, which is such an important part of a child’s development. Megan is creative through painting and drawing, reads stories and books in an animated fashion whilst also offering the expansive vocabulary and analytical skills needed to ensure that children are challenged at the appropriate level of learning that they are at.

Megan has always been very well presented, prompt and reliable. Megan’s language and vocabulary are appropriate to the age of the child. Megan has the ability to learn routines and tasks quickly and show initiative when something needs doing without needing to be asked. Megan follows instructions well and understands the pressures around having several young children with disability as a factor.

Any family would be extremely lucky to have Megan work with them and her addition to the family as a carer / nanny will offer peace of mind to parents to have the best possible care in their house. We are very sad to lose Megan in September 2016 but have been enriched by her support in the home, and her as a role model for my daughters.

Nanny to triplets including additional needs

Megan is amazing! Reliable, honest, caring and fun! She has been fantastic with my girls including one with quadriplegic cerebral palsy. She is very attentive to the child's needs and extremely patient! Would love to have her back in the future :-)
