Outstanding childcare

Nunzia looked after our daughter for almost two years, and in that time has become one of our daughter's most treasured friends. Nunzia has provided us with consistently exceptional childcare, always putting the unique needs of our daughter first. Every week is filled with a variety of activities and regular outings to broaden our daughter's experiences and knowledge.

We have always felt incredibly confident to leave our daughter in Nunzia's care, as she's so attentive to her well being. Nunzia's dedication to treating each child as an individual has helped us enourmously, especially at times when our daughter has needed some extra help to navigate new and challenging emotions and experiences. Nunzia has always taken a keen interest in our daughter's experiences, ensuring she understands what else is going on in her life that may be influencing her. Nunzia is always very willing to take extra time to discuss in detail how we can work together with her to help our daughter.

We are incredibly grateful for the support and care Nunzia has provided our daughter with. We would highly recommend Nunzia as a childminder as she's been instrumental in helping our daughter develop and us navigate some challenging aspects of parenthood. We firmly believe any child placed with Nunzia would thrive in preparation for school, becoming confident and well-rounded.

Exceptional Childminder

I had the pleasure of Nunzia looking after Roman since October 2020 when he was 10 months old, and I cannot praise her enough. From the moment I met her, I felt reassured by her warm demeanor and evident professionalism. It was a daunting time going back to work, mid pandemic, but Nunzia made me feel at ease. Here are a few reasons why I highly recommend her:

Safe and Nurturing Environment: Nunzia creates a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for children under her care. Roman always returned home happy and content, which speaks volumes about the positive atmosphere she cultivates.
Communication: Communication is key when it comes to childcare, and Nunzia excels in this aspect. She kept me updated on Roman’s daily activities, progress, and any concerns promptly and effectively. Knowing that I could easily reach her at any time provided great peace of mind.

From the moment Lilah stepped into Nunzia's care, it was evident that she settled beautifully. Amazing Childminder

Nunzia is just amazing!

My daughter started with her when she was 8 months old and has remained with her until she starts school (4 and half). As a first time mum, worried about leaving my daughter, Nunzia could not have made this easier. Her communication is brilliant and she has such a good understanding of children and child development.

Nunzia completely understands all the children she looks after and is incredibly child centred in her approach. She individualises everything to each child. Her skills and knowledge are amazing.

My daughter adores Nunzia and has progressed so much while being with her. They have different activities, days out and theme days which is amazing. She learns so much as well as social skills for being with other children.

I really cannot thank Nunzia enough for everything she has done for me and my daughter. She has been a huge part of these early years and helping her be ready for her next exciting adventure!

Fantastic Childminder

Our daughter was with Nunzia for a year and loved her time in Nunzia's care. Nunzia was always welcoming, listened to our needs and ensured that Niamh had a great day with lots of opportunities to do different activities.
Even though Niamh was only there 2 days a week Nunzia always ensured that she didn't miss out on fun activities by structuring the week so that Niamh was included. Nunzia provided a structured setting and helped Niamh develop skills relevant to her ability and gave us regular updates on how she was doing.
Nunzia provided a range of meals and helped us research into different ways to encourage Niamh who is a fussy eater to eat different meals.
We were really happy with the level of care Nunzia provided and we only moved Niamh as I was returning to work after maternity leave and Nunzia had no space for my son.

Exceptional childminder

I cannot recommend Nunzia highly enough!

Nunzia goes above and beyond - a dedicated professional, fun and loving.

Our two sons have been with Nunzia for over 2 years since aged 3yrs and 18mnths. In this time our older son has transitioned into full time school and our younger son is in pre-school two days.

From the outset Nunzia has consulted with us to develop a fantastic arrangement for our boys that fits in with our work commitments and supports the boys' development and journey into pre-school/school.

Nunzia has always strived to establish a daily routine to meet the needs of all the children in her care.

Nunzia puts a great deal of effort into planning activities that are seasonal or related to key themes that the boys are focusing on at school, and always with their early years development at the centre....not to mention so much fun!

Nunzia keeps a daily record of activities, meals, sleep etc. Also, every few weeks we receive a folder from Nunzia full of photos and observations of the boys. These are not only wonderful to read but they also track the progress the boys are making in their development.

The boys have great friendships with Nunzia's teenage children and husband and they are looked after in a home-from-home environment. Nunzia sometimes take the boys to feed the chickens at her mother-in-law's house and the boys affectionately call her Chicken Lady. Nunzia and her family teach and exhibit the values that we are developing with the boys at home, and that are expected of them at school.

My husband and I have complete peace of mind that are children are being well cared for, nurtured and supported in their development...and importantly kissed and cuddled.

It is not surprising that Nunzia won the Bedford Borough Childminder in her first year in business and is Ofsted rated outstanding.

I would be more than happy to talk to any parent considering using Nunzia as their childminder.
