When my daughter was 13 months old, a change of jobs meant that she was no longer able to attend the nursery I'd chosen when I initially returned to work from maternity leave. My new working hours required a flexibility that a nursery couldn't accommodate, so I started to look for a suitable childminder. I saw several within the local area and struggled to imagine leaving my child with any of them. Then I met Tina!

Tina offers a clean, warm and welcoming environment for my child and I am continually impressed by the range of activities she is able to provide. Day to day, my daughter attends music classes, local playgroups, soft play centres, activity parks (such as wheelgate) and nature reserves. On a sunny day, Tina will not hesitate to take the children to the sea side to enjoy the weather or a local splash park! Tina sends plenty of pictures throughout the day, so I can see how much fun my daughter is having!

I credit Tina with much of my daughter's development (which I'm regularly kept updated on). Her speech, problem-solving capabilities, social skills and personal independence have all developed with impressive speed since she first started seeing Tina. As if that wasn't enough, Tina has always modelled beautiful manners which my daughter has naturally adopted and her assistance with the dreaded potty training phase, made the transition quick and easy. As she has grown, my daughter has also enjoyed the charitable activities Tina regularly undertakes with the children, for example donations at the food bank or a gift shoebox at Christmas. I too, look forward to the little gifts and cards Tina makes with the children for mother's Day, Easter etc.

Tina is very flexible and will bend over backwards to help where she can, especially where working hours are longer than expected. She provides healthy, home-cooked meals for the children she cares for and even has my children eating food they refuse at home!

When it was time to return to work after the birth of my son, it was a no-brainer and Tina now looks after him too! She is an exceptional childminder; warm, nurturing and a lot of fun! If you ask my daughter, she will not hesitate to tell you that she loves Tina and 'Ina' was even one of my son's first words. Tina is quite simply brilliant and there no one else I would recommend.
