I am a Specialist Accredited Quality Assured CHILDMINDER , I provide good quality childcare from my home & i have done since 1992 and have loved every minute on my job.

I have attended many training courses over the years , I have gained a wealth of knowledge & experience enabling me to continue to offer the local community a good quality flexible service .
Children's welfare is paramount, not only that but support parents with the need for a more Flexible approach in terms of meeting their daily childcare needs I can appreciate it important when looking for childcare.
I am confident in my work and am approachable . I do not over commit myself in having large numbers of children in my care each day , this is not the nature of my service . I pride myself on a more person centred approach , having smaller groups . I provide a more homely nurturing environment that enables me to not over commit but focus on your child's developmental needs , children settle better this way . Happy learners are confident learners so by offering quality time settling , getting to know your child's likes an dislikes , enables me to develop activities your child will enjoy , interact , socialise and have fun within the small group in a happy friendly environment .

I have three children of my own. Two daughters ' both mummies to 5 fabulous little grandchildren . ' One son now 26 years old , and a keen sportsman . Both myself and grown up children and anyone in regular contact with the children hold a full DBS check .

Over the years within my childcare role , parents and I have maintained great relationships, even when the children move up into school , I really enjoy hearing about how those very children are doing now all grow up , it's really important as once I was an influential small part of their life . I can honestly say its been amazing to Care for children , I take my responsibility seriously and continue to support families that need an alternative service such as mine , which is a more personal family orientated way of getting to know people .
I recognize not everyone has the support of family members around them so i hope i can assist you in anyway possible .

I am a Childminder but I can extend my service by offering a babysitting or a nanny service from time to time as well as .
I am flexible with my contracts and I am sure the service I provide caters for all parents childcare needs .
If you do require a school drop / collect service only ( please take into account you will be charged on daily fuel ) .
I am registered with Ofsted to and have cared for children in my own home for over night and childcare during holidays as well as parents wishing to go on holiday without the children , whereas I have taken children to and from school and Nursery . I worked with there family members for this to work .

All I ask of you as a parent is is to consider a few basics such as :
To provide everything you feel you childcare with need on a normal given day .
To make sure your child arrives on time and is collected on time .
That if your child is not attending , you call me .
That your childcare fees are always paid in advance of any childcare request.
If your child is sick , they need to be kept at home to recover until they are well enough to return .
That any changes in childcare needs are requested in advance by completing change form .
If someone else if collecting your child , I will need written consent .
Any medication your child needs administration with with need written consent .
When you complete the Additional information about your child , that this is completed giving me as much information about your child in order that I Care and support your child with there development , learning whilst in my care . Thank you .

As you can appreciate that childcare needs to be paid in advance in order that payments flow with no arrears enabling me to continue a positive service .

I am a caring , responsible person, always putting children first , making every effort in ensuring your child feels in am approachable . The children call me Auntie Mimi as it brings a more family friendly approach to the relationship as with settling a child to the service .

Since I first registered as a childminder in 1992 , a majority of the children placed in my care , stayed for many years , often until they reached school age . My own children supported me in my work and they gained alot by sharing me , their home , there growing up with child minded children , always having a little playmate to be sociable with.
