After meeting a few childminders I knew Supermum was the right fit for us. Our son has attended for just over a year now and he is so happy there. The environment is really nurturing, he has learnt a huge amount since he's been in their care, and he clearly loves spending time with them.

They give him a rich variety of activities to do, usually including a lot of outdoor time, which is really important for him and us. There are games, toys, projects, crafts, we've got a fridge covered in his artworks! They also never put the TV on, which is demonstrative of their professionalism and good planning. They communicate his progress well with us, both through a private and secure app, and face-to-face. We both enjoy drop offs and pickups because they're really nice, easygoing people who we feel comfortable chatting with. It's also clear to see during this time that our son is very happy and comfortable with them too.

They also do things properly; by this I mean any bumps, scrapes, illnesses, medicine administered, etc. either in their care, or with us, is always dealt with by-the-book. This isn't something we would ever have thought about while we were looking for childminders, but having seen the way that they deal with this type of thing - and anything admin based - we really have utmost confidence that he's in safe hands.

Our son is currently 23 months, and just starting to string together 4-5 words in sentences. Firstly, we think they have encouraged his speech fantastically, and secondly, when he's with us he chats really positively about them.

It's great to have such a supportive childminder who feels almost like a co-parent for your kids. Can't recommend highly enough.
