We cannot thank Suzie and Anna enough for the exceptional care they provided to our daughter over the past year. Initially, we were very concerned because she wasn’t settling in at the first nursery we sent her to, as she didn’t speak English and found herself in a very enclosed environment. Suzie and Anna, however, placed a strong emphasis on child socialization, which I believe is a crucial aspect of development. They regularly took the children to different groups, parks, farms, and organized a variety of activities and games to enhance their experiences.
The way they cared for the children at their home made it feel like a second home for our daughter. She even insisted on having Suzie’s breakfast toast every morning, despite our attempts to recreate it at home. I believe it was the warmth and affection Suzie provided that made our daughter so attached to her.
A special mention goes to their pet dog, Teddy, who became an inseparable part of our daughter’s life journey. She developed a strong bond with him, and he played an important role in her emotional development, providing companionship and comfort.
Within just two weeks, our daughter began to feel more at ease. Suzie and Anna played an instrumental role in her character development. Her improvement in English language skills was far beyond our expectations, and we are incredibly proud of the progress she made under their guidance.
Suzie and Anna were also a tremendous support to us when I had to be away for work for a couple of months. In today’s busy world, it is rare to find individuals who go above and beyond like they did. We will always remain deeply grateful for everything they have done ❣️❣️❣️

Thankyou for your kind words. We all worked great as a team and it proves that consistency and routine are key in children’s lives. Please continue to up date us on Nivi’s progress through her next stage at school.
We were recommended Suzie through a close friend and from the very first phone call arranging an introductory meet up, I just knew she was the one we’d be going with. Suzie and her family are absolutely wonderful! Warm, friendly, supportive and caring, we loved them from day one! My son started with her just after his first birthday and very quickly settled in.
Communication with Suzie is great, she keeps you updated with photos and videos of what your children are getting up to throughout the day. She is also a wonderful help and support with things such as weaning, eating habits, potty training, learning to get dressed etc etc. Suzie’s setting is a home from home and the children sing, read, dance, bake, plant flowers, paint, build etc etc and Suzie and her team are there every step of the way, supporting and encouraging as if every child were their own.
Suzie was brilliant at supporting not just my sons development but the whole family. When it started to become apparent that my son may have some delay in communication, she was brilliant at helping us get referred to speech and language teams who could help, she was wonderful with helping fill out the forms, kept us updated all the way through and was just generally a great support through the process.
My son was with with Suzie for 2 and a half years - all day, 5 days a week and loved every second of being with her, Anna and Nanny Carole. He formed strong bonds with them all, going to bed every night asking if he was going “to Suzie’s house” tomorrow. We only recently had to leave Suzie’s setting due to moving house otherwise I would have tried to keep my son with her as long as possible - if he could still be with her at 18 years old I would have had it!
Suzie and her team go the extra mile every single time and you can just see how much she loves the children. She is thoughtful, caring and even since moving our son out of her setting, she has kept in touch, keen to see how our son is getting on.
Suzie and her team have become friends for life and I would recommend her to absolutely everybody.
I originally come from abroad and my husband’s family are all up north. Suzie has been an absolute godsend for my family. I was referred to Suzie from a work colleague who is a friend of Sue’s and would go on and on how she wished she was able to send her own kids to Suzie. From the moment I met Suzie and her wonderful family and saw her dedication to children. I had that deep down gut instinct she was exactly what I was looking for to help look after my children. She took my first child from 5 months old and has provided invaluable expertise in her development. Now 3, my daughter is hitting and exceeding all developmental milestones. I associate this all with Suzie and the work she does with my child. Each day my daughter comes home with cutting practice, colouring, painting, letter and number practice and recognition and stories about what she did and all her friends she played with.
My second child joined Suzie just a few months ago at 6 months. He was born premature and has a number of skin issues and food allergies. Suzie has been an encyclopedia of advice and has helped me navigate tricky situations through the NHS and more importantly has been a shoulder for me to cry on or a level head of advice. Suzie has helped with applying medication and creating meals my son can eat taking care of his allergies. He is thriving and again I associate it all with Suzie and her dedication.
Suzie is not only an amazing childminder, she is one of the most generous and kind humans I have ever met. I don’t know what we would do without her. Any child would be lucky to have Suzie and her family in their life.
Not being from England or having family close by made looking for a childminder that more difficult. I was worried, stressed and even thought about not sending my twins anywhere and just staying at home with them.
Then I met Suzie. A complete godsend! She is dependable, patient, loving, and knowledgeable. To say she has been everything we've wanted and needed is an understatement. I could go on for hours about how incredible she is but what I think what sets Suzie apart from nearly everyone else is her heart…she was born to do this. She loves all the children that go to her like her own. Suzie’s daughter, Anna and Nanny Carol (Suzie’s mother) are also there and are just much of a part of the kids day. Like Suzie, they have the knowledge of development, the experience of working with children, and tender heart that care.
My kids absolutely adore going to Suzie’s. When you drop off your kids in the morning, you’ll see other children running towards her door, eager to get inside. My two little ones (currently 16 months) reach with open arms to Suzie and Anna each and every day. They absolutely love them. Suzie organises activities, play groups, and special visits (the dentist was a big hit!). They sing, play, learn, read and have meals together. She cooks with them, paints with them, plays with them. Her home is dedicated to the children. Each space is welcoming and entertaining no matter what the age. Everything is clean, tidy and organised. I have truly never seen a garden quite like hers...it's a child's dream!
As a parent, not only do you have peace of mind and know your kids are being loved and looked after but Suzie will reassure you when you are in doubt, offer suggestions when you need help and she is always happy to help in any way she can. She often sends pictures or videos so you can catch a glimpse of your kid’s day. When you pick up your children and see their smiling faces…there is nothing better in the world!
Suzie’s is where my two spend the majority of their day. She has become such an integral part of our lives and now is our family. She is their home and there is honestly no better feeling as a parent than knowing that your kids are with someone like Suzie. They say home isn’t a place but the people who make it and Suzie is just that…home.
Suzie has made me feel so comfortable leaving my under 1 year old for the first time. After just a week I felt super confident leaving her.
My daughter always leaves and arrives with a smile and Suzie always encourages her development and feeds back to me.
The thoughtful touches on Mother’s Day and Easter were so sweet too, with arts and crafts from my little one.
There is a folder which I love to read each day with what they have been up to and I love that Taylor is always out and about at different play groups for her development and social skills also.
Overall I am so happy with the level of care Suzie gives!
Sue looked after my eldest daughter for a year before she went to school and helped out with school drop off for my son. Finding Sue was the best thing that could have happened to our family.
Not having family nearby, Sue and her beautiful family became like our own family, her daughters and her mum are all so lovely and so easy to get along with.
Taking the children to her was like taking them to a family member, I just knew she was someone we could trust.
What I loved most about Sue, was that she was very honest and open about everything, she encouraged my daughters develpment and would tell me exactly where she struggled.
I was very impressed at the level of education my daughter was getting. She could write her name confidently before joining nursery at school.
My daughter always came home talking about how much fun she had and now in school still asks when she'll be going back to see Sue.
Sue has really made an impact on all of us and is highly, highly recommended. We miss you Sue!

Awww Thankyou Xena. You were a lovely family to work for. Xx
Suzie is wonderful, warm, loving and has been the perfect childminder to look after my daughter for the last 2 years. My little girl started at 11 months and as you can imagine i was nervous mummy but Suzie and Nanny Carole completely reassured me. The zero tears after day 1 made me realise what an amazing family my child was with. My daughter has progressed significantly and her speech, academic development and her social attitude is hugely due to her time with Suzie. Suzie is amazingly supportive and has been a life saver during the time of my birth with my second born. Her love ensured my daughter remained in a stable environment and the changes did not impact her negatively. Nothing has been too much trouble and I am truly devasted that due to personal changes, we will have to move on. We will ALL miss Suzie and her family lots. P
