Highly recommended
I moved my children to Emma at Blossom Tree. childcare after we moved house and they had to change nursery. They were both really unsettled and unhappy at the new nursery so I decided to try out a childminder, after always feeling strongly that nursery was the better option. As soon as they met Emma both my children (then 2 and 4) bonded instantly with her. Her home is lovely and welcoming and there is always a calm atmosphere (which never happens at a nursery!). It also feels very safe and child friendly. There is a very inviting playroom that my children love with books, small world toys, dressing up and lots more. They also love playing outside at her house and there are lots of outdoor toys for them to play with. Emma takes the children out everyday, to a playgroup or the park, they have even been to Spanish lessons, bowling and the cinema!
Emma is very organised and spends time every week with my 3 year old on her pre school work. She has come on leaps and bounds and recognises colours, shapes, numbers and letters.
They regularly meet up with other child minders and this gives my youngest lots of interaction with other children which I feared she wouldn't get from going with a childminder rather than a nursery. Her confidence has grown and she initiates friendships on her own and even told me she has a best friend!
Emma is professional yet really friendly and helpful and has gone out of her way on numerous occasions when I've forgotten to send something into school or needed them dropping off somewhere etc .
I definitely feel we made the best decision in sending our children to Emma. They have all the educational and interaction aspects I wanted from a nursery but with the added bonus of a calm, safe, personal environment. I get lots of communication on what they've been doing/feeling/how they have behaved each day and get at least one picture msg each day showing me what they are up to. This is lovely and always brightens up my day.
Both my children are very fond of Emma, they look forward to going and tell me they have missed her when we have been on holiday.
I couldn't recommend her more highly.
