Beyond grateful for the loving care

We are incredibly fortunate to have the found the wonderful duo of Mark and Jean to care for our two children. From the moment we met them, they have felt like an extension of our family. Their warmth, kindness, and genuine care for our children shines through in everything they do.

Mark and Jean have been looking after our 3 year old son for 14 months, and more recently, our 1 year old daughter as well. They go above and beyond in every aspect of their care. They are dedicated to providing a nurturing, stimulating, and safe environment for all the children and the Ofsted ‘outstanding’ rating is testament to that.

Happy Kids is more than just a childcare service; it’s a place where children are encouraged to explore, learn, and grow. Mark and Jean regularly organise trips that our children absolutely love, giving them the opportunity to experience new environments and develop a sense of adventure. The weekly forest school and yoga classes are fantastic activities which our kids look forward to every week.

Beyond the fun trips and activities, Mark and Jean are also committed to teaching valuable life skills. They encourage our children to participate in cooking, promoting a healthy appreciation for food and nutrition. They are always finding new and creative ways to support the children's well-being and personal growth. They provide healthy, home cooked meals for all the children which is a huge bonus.

We truly cannot recommend Happy Kids enough. Our children are happy, engaged, and thriving, all thanks to the exceptional care provided by Mark and Jean. We are so grateful for the loving care they provide to our little ones. Thank you, Happy Kids!

What a relief to have found Jean and Mark!

My Daughter runs into Happy Kids every morning and doesn’t look back 🥲. Such a relief to know she is so happy, loved and well looked after with Jean and Mark. They go on loads of outings which is a fantastic experience for her and she just loves the yoga classes! Jean and Mark go above and beyond and are always thinking ‘what fun activities can we do with the kids next?’ They make wonderful nutritious meals from scratch which my daughter loves and they are also very flexible which really makes my life so much less stressful. I am very glad to have found Happy Kids.

Wonderful!

We were really lucky to find Happy Kids - because of lockdown, my daughter had been at home away from people for many months and was really anxious around strangers. Jean and Mark were so gentle and welcoming with her and my son (who is much more confident and active) and she settled in with them amazingly quickly. They send lots of pictures every day and the kids look like they have wonderful days, in and out of the house. They really are the nicest people and we can’t fault a single thing about our time there!

Great childcare

Jean looked after my son James for 2 1/2 years. She was always very flexible around shift work and James was always well cared for. I would recommend Happy Kids to anyone looking for childcare in Takeley.
