My son and daughter during half terms had the absolute pleasure of going to Rainey's, my 3 year old has been going since he was 1.5 and adores Lorraine, as do i.
The kindest, nicest childminder i have ever met and i am pleased my children had the time of their lives with her.
A true gem, gold dust as they say.

Lorraine has taken care of my youngest son since he was 8 months old. My son quickly became very attached to her loving manner and I would say that it is her genuine affection and care that she shows towards the children she looks after, which sets her apart from many other childminders. Lorraine has a wonderfully calm and soothing nature. My son was happy to be in her company, even when he was going through a difficult teething patch, he always got excited as we approached her front door. Her home was a safe and inviting environment and the children were spoilt with a range of toys to explore and play with both inside and out. My son has various food allergies and this was a concern to me when we were searching for a childminder, but Lorraine thankfully took this all in her stride and I never had to worry about this when leaving him. She was wonderfully flexible when my husband or I had a change in our schedules and her many years of experience - both as a parent and as a childcare professional - shone through on many occasions. Unfortunately, my children are growing up and moving on - although, with a third baby on the way, Lorraine will be the first person I think of when the need for a kind and loving childcare provider next arises. She made such a positive difference in my son's and our lives - we really can't thank her or recommend her highly enough.

What can I say? I am only doing a review because my daughter has started school and I have to stop being so protective of Lorraine!
She is amazing. My daughter was with her daily from 18 months to four years old. Lorraine has taught her to be kind and helped with potty training. She has been flexible and has been fine with managing coughs and colds. Very loving towards the children. We miss her very much indeed.
If she has a vacancy, snap it up! 😀

Lorraine looked after my daughter for almost 3 years and I cannot rate her highly enough. My daughter loved going to Rainey’s house and thrived while there. Lorraine is so warm, kind, caring and attentive to the children in her care and builds up a wonderful relationship with them, and likewise with the parents too. You will not find a better childminder than Lorraine!

Lorraine has been our childminder looking after our 2 girls full time for nearly 6 years since they were babies, and has been a godsend to us.
She is patient, caring, reliable & trustworthy. Our girls love being looked after by her, she keeps them busy taking them for walks, or painting /reading etc, or simply having snuggles on the sofa if they're feeling a bit poorly.
With the youngest about to start school full time we've had to make the hard decision to look for a new childminder local to us just for school drop offs (we live in Hertford).
I would thoroughly recommend her services to any parents looking for childcare in a warm & friendly environment.
