Julie is absolutely lovely, and has clearly got a lot of experience working with children. I always felt like my 10 month old was safe and well cared for with Julie. She has every toy under the sun and loads of books which my boy loves.
There were a few areas, though, where I felt things didn’t fully meet what he needed at his age. There were no activities planned in the days with Julie, and I feel he would have benefited from some classes or stay and plays to engage him and encourage interaction with other children. The house was also kept quiet during the day, and I would have loved to see more verbal engagement, simple chatting or singing. We’re quite a loud household, with nursery rhymes and lots of chatting, which my boy is used to.
All in all Julie was a great help while I was transitioning back into work, but in my opinion her set up didn’t fit for a 10 month old. A toddler who could fit in a tent with loads of colourful toys would love it!

I am very disappointed that this is a deliberate attempt to destroy my 100% 5 star rating and outstanding reviews when I went above and beyond to help this family in very difficult circumstances for me.
To have constant loud noise in a household where the parents are working from home is not appropriate. I was being considerate.
For a parent to ask a Nanny to take an infected child to a random baby group to infect everyone elses children is both irresponsible and selfish. As a professional, considerate and responsible Nanny I would never do that.
We’ve had the pleasure of having Julie provide ad hoc babysitting for our children and we couldn’t be more grateful.
From the very first visit, she brought along a delightful array of games, books, and toys that immediately captivated our children. Her ability to engage them in creative and educational play is truly remarkable. It’s evident that she takes the time to understand each child’s interests and needs, as she quickly formed a genuine connection with them.
What stands out most is her approach to childcare, she makes the children feel comfortable and secure in her care. Her warmth, patience, and enthusiasm have made her a positive impact on the household :)

Julie comes on an ad hoc basis for my 2 year old. She always brings lots of toys and games. On her last visit Julie was with us all day so took George to the library and Harlow carr. George is always really happy to see Julie and I really appreciate Julie keeping me updated with photos and texts so I can see how they are getting on.
Julie has fitted in really well to our busy family life. Thank you Julie.
