Home environment

Sam offers an excellent service for a fair price. I have always been impressed with the activities she does with the children and my son has thrived in her care. The environment she has created for the children is extremely homely and relaxed. This is a child care provider you can rely upon.

A saviour

Choosing child care was very stressful for me. I was in the process of splitting up from my son's father and going back to work full time. Robin was 16 months old when we first started at Sam's.
From the moment we met Sam and saw her lovely home, Robin ran straight into the playroom to play. He didn't want to leave!That set the tone for us really...I would drop him off and he would run straight to the playroom to see all his new friends with hardly a backward glance for me!
Robin's confidence and social skills have developed enormously in the 2 years he has been with Sam. This comes from regular outings with other childminders and from the children in Sam's setting. Her genuine love for her job shines through and Robin frequently tells me how much he loves her!
Having 3 son's of her own means there's not much Sam doesn't know about raising children and I'm very grateful for the part she has played in helping me and Chris raise our son.
One of the best things about Sam's care is that they go out everyday..even in the rain!Lots of fresh air and fun means Robin sleeps like a top. I cannot recommend Sam highly enough. Her sons are a credit to her and the children are all so happy and settled.

She did wonders for my little girl

Sam was looking after my little girl till recently. I cannot recommend her enough.
I am a first time mum and left my little one with her from 9 months old.
She is now 18 months and has opened up so much.
She was quite shy and took a while to get used to people however she trusted Sam from day one.
Sam goes out nearly every day with the children and goes out with other childminders which has made my little one much more confident.
Sam has helped me with advice about my parenting style specially with bedtime routines.
We always struggled for my little one to sleep in the day in a cot/travel cot and we have succeeded this with all the support Sam has offered while my little girl was in her care.
We also got rid of her dummy in the day with no issues from 12 months and including naps in the day.
I would still be using Sam if I was still in the area.
Sam also updates you with photos from the day and updates you with a personal diary about your child.
If I could recommend anyone to look after your child it would be Sam!
