About Me
Hello, I'm Charlotte :) A pre-registered Childminder who is starting Childminding full time from November 2024!
My setting will be open 8am-6pm and I will also be offering school drop offs and pick ups to Flitwick Lower School.
My background is Early Years and SEND. I have extensive training and qualifications surrounding Children and Young People, the EYFS, am Paediatric First Aid Trained and have an Enhanced DBS Check. I live with my partner Ashton, my younger brother Michael and have 2 daughters called Lily and Poppy. We also have 2 small dogs called Oscar and Archie.
I am an adventurer and love being outdoors. I am a strong believer in allowing children to learn through play and at their own pace. Promoting independence and providing opportunities to allow little ones to learn is one of my favourite things to do. Outdoor learning is something I bring into my practice daily!
I previously ran LilyPops Stay and Play in Flitwick where I brought different themes to life and provided a safe and nurturing environment for the parents and little ones. When this closed, I decided to become a childminder and continue my passion for working with little ones at home.
Everything I do will have your little one's best interests at heart and I hope to promote a ‘home from home’ environment. Having a good relationship with the parents is the best way for me to support your child. Please remember that no question is out of bounds! I am transparent, honest, approachable and friendly and can’t wait to work with you to enable your little one to thrive in my setting!
My Experience
I've worked with children for 13 years and have 2 of my own. I have many other qualifications to go alongside this (Safeguarding, First aid, Smile Award, Food hygiene, SENCo etc). I worked for a few years in nursery, going up the ranks to Deputy Manager and then onto working in a Family Centre focusing on Early Years development. I've worked in schools and within the Local Authority and my most recent work has been within SEND.
My Qualifications
I am a Level 2 and 3 NVQ qualified practitioner in childcare and am also Paediatric First Aid trained. I have many other qualifications to go alongside this (Safeguarding, First aid, Smile Award, Food hygiene, SENCo, SEND Law Level 1, 2 and 3 etc).
My Availability
LilyPops Childminding is open 8am-6pm. However, should you require flexibility with this, then this can be discussed and an agreement made at my discretion.

My Fees
- Childminding from £6.00 per hour
LilyPops Childminding fees are £6 per hour and this includes consumables and trips.
