Happy and trustworthy experience

We are privileged to have Saira as our childminder since May 2018. Saira has been reliable, loving , kind and always very flexible to our needs. She has a good understanding of the needs and abilities of the children and is warm, nurturing and responsive to my child.
Saira home is always welcoming, clean and well organised and my child has great fun playing with all toys available and with the other children in her care. She provides a wide, fun range-of activities including water play, sand, play dough, art, writing, lego, puzzles and celebrate other nationalities important events and days.
Saira is a great communicator and has no trouble in gaining my child confidence and therefore encouraging good behaviour and kindness and compassion to others, both skills which are important to us at home. When my child steps outside his boundaries she responds with firm but kind discipline explaining what we would like to see in terms which he understands. When he is hurt or feeling under the weather I know that he feels happy to be comforted by her and I am confident that she can administer either first aid or medication following all the correct procedures and completing the necessary records to ensure his health and safety.
Saira will provide snacks such as fruit or food if my child is exceptionally hungry after school or keen to eat while the other children are eating. I am also aware that Saira ensures good personal hygiene in encouraging all the children to wash their hands before eating and after using the toilet.
All in all I am thoroughly happy with the level of care my child receives and I’m certain that being in such a positive and happy environment is helping him develop into a confident and self assured little boy.
I would absolutely recommend Saira as a great and reliable childminder.

Fantastic childminder, happy kids

We have been using Saira's services for about 1 year now for our 3 year old daughter. Since going to Saira our daughter has made great progress in her social skills, phonics, numeracy and art skills. We are extremely happy with the care and dedication that Saira is providing; she really cares for the kids and it shows. Our daughter is extremely content with going to Saira and she is developing into a very happy and confident child as a result. We will continue using her service and we highly recommend it.

Many years of amazing service

I’ve been using Saira for many years, she helped with my daughter who has autism and my 2 under 2. She provides healthy balanced meals and constantly provides updates and picture of lessons she is teaching my children. My kids love going and enjoy all the fun activities and outings.
She provides me with updated medical information and has been amazing during lock down. I would highly recommend her if you want peace of mind whilst your at work.

Worse experience

I don’t recommend Saira because even if I was only once there to find some information and see the place (small, without garden) it was more than enough to realise what type of childminder she is. When I stayed inside with her and the kids it was fine but after I left started the shock for me. She told me to go through a door to the stairs but because I had the baby and came with the lift first I was waiting and waiting for more than 8 minutes to come. So, when I was waiting I heard how she was shouting so loudly, screaming all this time constantly to that children, she never stopped! In my opinion, this is a child abuse and broke the policy of child protection and safeguarding. For moment, because I was shocked of what I heard, I left home and sent her a text to let her know that I was hearing everything and a childminder never behave like that and I will make a complaint because I can’t hide something like that. She sent me back a text that she is not afraid and wrote: “you are making fuss thank goodness you show your true colours.” This is not professional, either. As a parent all I wanted was to be well looked, no shouting and screaming to scare the children. Anyway, this was the worse experience with a childminder.
