During my time in schools I held the following positions:
- Head of Assessment (senior leadership position at leading London Prep School)
- Head of English
- Head of Humanities
- Head of Able, Gifted and Talented
I now currently run a private tuition and consulting service, specialising in 7+, 8+ and 11+. We also run holiday prep camps and I have a proven track record of supporting children to gain places at St Pauls, Westminster Under, Kings Wimbledon, Latymer, Bute, Godolphin etc.
Extensive experience with:
- 4+, 7+, 8+,10+ and 11+ exams
- children with SEN
- children with English as a second language
- children requiring further support to meet their potential
- children needing further challenge
Over the past 5 years, I have been working solely in private households, as a private tutor and education consultant. I support children and families with entrance exam preparation and processes, I create individual learning plans to help each pupil to fulfil their potential and provide early intervention for children requiring additional support. I have extensive experience of working with children with SEN and also English as a second language.
I absolutely love working with children and their families, as a team, and believe that an outstanding education is one of the most important gifts we can give to our children. I am looking not only to tutor children from 2-12 years old, but also to help families in any other educational support they require. This could be helping with school choices, working with other professionals (OT, SLT etc) and creating at home learning plans to suit your family’s schedule. Happy to tutor, bake, visit museums, visit parks- you name it and we can make learning fun and exciting for the children!
