A truly caring childminder

Alex has been great with our son, and he really loves going there. She clearly cares for him (and the other children there) a lot, and he always seems to have a lot of fun when he's there. She's also helped him grow into the lovely boy that he is, teaching him up be friendly and polite, and full of fun!
He's been going to her since he was around 7 months old, firstly for a few days here and there and now for 4 days a week, her flexibility with days has been really helpful.

Our wonderful (Aunty) Alex!!!

My daughter has been going to Alex 2-3 days a week for nearly a year. Although my daughter is my second child, after an awful pregnancy, I’ve always been a little bit attached and was really nervous about sending her to a childminder but I can’t speak highly enough of Alex.
Straight away, she was ‘on the ball’ with paperwork and getting everything set up. She’s so organised and pretty much looks after me too, when it comes to the tax free childcare admin! Thank you Alex ;) !!!
Alex is so patient, kind and compassionate. When I drop my daughter off, there’s a love there that is wonderful to see and it gives me trust in knowing that my daughter is well looked after. I love that my daughter is treated like one of the family and I love the little updates, just watching her have fun with them all!
I’ve just started a sabbatical from work and Alex could not be more wonderful as I navigate this change. She’s so flexible and even offered to swap my days sometimes. She tries to support working parents as best she can which is so needed, especially for my family right now.
Alex is considerate and fair in all aspects which creates a wonderful place for my daughter to thrive.
Thank you Alex, for being the ‘home from home’ for our little girl! :)

Cannot recommend highly enough

Alex is just wonderful and I’m so happy that we found her. She is kind, caring and treats my son like family.

Alex had been looking after my son full-Time since he was 6 months old and he has just blossomed under her care. He has become more confident and has learnt how to play with other children. He absolutely loves going to her every day and he gets to do so
many different activities. She is so well set for every stage of childhood and has toys and activities for them. They go on walks, do messy play, arts and crafts, go to the park, go to the farm, meet up with other childminders….the list goes on! I love the home made crafts I get on special occasions like Christmas!

Alex is really flexible and took the time to get know us as a family. She is really respectful of our parenting choices and has been so supportive. She provides the home from home style of care we wanted.

Alex is also really knowledgable and proactive in terms of the early years framework. She has provided us every term with a report on his progress in relation to the framework and how we can support our son‘s development further at home. This has been really useful and a lovely memento of his early years. During the day, Alex sends up so many photos and updates so we always know what he is doing and how much fun he is having! This certainly made it so much easier for me to leave him in the early stages (as a first time
Mum, going back to work was hard!) and now, I’m so confident in the care Alex provides that my mind is completely at ease- it‘s just nice to see him smiling and happy!

I cannot recommend Alex highly enough, she is amazing at what she does and I’m so happy that she has become part of our family.
