Our son's 'best friend'
Kai started with Karen at only 10 months old and we knew straight away from meeting her that we had found the perfect person to look after our baby!
The care and dedication she shows is clear with all the information you recieve about her and her childminder ethos right from the start.
With her own perfectly created childminding area of the house, the activities, toys and educational resources she has is outstanding. It is so inviting for the children who always start their day off using the fun activities she already has laid out for them (making any tricky drop offs incredibly easy!) Her outside area is equally amazing as she goes above and beyond to provide memorable days for the children in her care. In the summer months Kai has loved having the majority of the time outside!
I loved knowing that Karen each day would more likely then not take them out for a walk, music group or meet up with fellow childminders to add to their socialisation.
Now at 30 months old Kai has thrived in her setting and maintains that Karen is his 'best friend'. I frequently get comments about his speech, his counting and his love of books which we feel has been a product of him being in such an incredible childcare setting.
As first time parents, Karen also always had time to chat to us and at times reassure us through the crazy world of parenting!
When leaving Karen presented us with a learning journey of Kais time with her (very beautifully made and emotional!) As well as his development folder once again reminding us that it wasnt just a huge amount of fun Kai was having at Karen's.
If we were ever to move back to the area, Karen's number would be the first one I'd ring (and hope she had space for my children!)
