You would be lucky to have Bernie!
Bernie attends the same playgroups as me and I am always amazed watching her! I have seen some of the children in her care grow and develop over this past year and they are ALL becoming confident, polite, independent, happy little people. Bernie sets such a good example for the little ones to follow.
The children all clearly feel safe and loved in her care and immediately seek her out if they need reassurance or just a quick cuddle.
I have NEVER heard Bernie raise her voice and even when she is disciplining a child she does it in such a calm and loving way I don't think any child ever feels told off. It's more like she supports them to make better choices.
Bernie is always the first person to offer to help any of us mums if she sees us struggling with our kids. Having a toddler and a baby I definitely appellate the helping hand. And when a child threw up Bernie first made sure her kids were happy and safe and then rushed to get antibacterial spray and paper to help clean it up.
She loves taking children to nature places and is always engaged and helping them to discover and learn. My 2 year old always follows Bernie around listening to her and watching what she is doing.
If Bernie has a vacancy grab it before you miss out on an amazing child minder
Thank you Bernie for making us mums feel like leaving our children with someone like you would be a positive experience for them and that they would benefit so much from being in your loving care :-)
