Hiya. I’m bright, bubbly and always up for an adventure! I have worked in childcare for the past 12 years. 7 years sole charge nanny experience with children aged 5 months-8 years .
I have been living in Glasgow for 4 years now and absolutely love the city and the Scottish scenery. In my spare time I enjoy visiting new places, hill walking, going to restaurants with friends/family and sewing!
I own my own car (KIA shortage) which I’m happy to use for nannying.
I’m currently in a full time nanny role. But I am available for weekend babysitting :)
My Experience
After I qualified I worked for mark warner holidays for 2 years as a nanny and activity instructor. (Children aged 4 months-17 years)
I then worked for Bright Horizons nursery in London for 2 years as the 2-3 years room leader
After that I secured my first sole charge nanny position in south London looking after 3 children aged 9m,3y,5y which I absolutely loved! I stayed with them for 2 years.
Since living in Scotland I have been a sole charge nanny for 5 family’s (all families are more than happy to provide a great reference) ages of children range between 5months-8 years (also experience with twins from 1 years old )
My duties included getting all children up in the morning, getting ready for school, getting to school, taking to clubs and play dates, planning and cooking fresh meals, making up bottles, planing fun stimulating activities for after school, in the holidays and for the little one during the day, planing day trip out, tidying rooms, children's washing and changing bed sheets, hovering, cleaning kitchen, emptying dishwasher, helping with homework, bathing and putting to bed, supporting child that has ADD and Autism, home schooling 7 year old, looking after children when off sick from school, taking children to appointments and for their injections, being a support for the family, sending up dates/photos to parents throughout the day.
I currently nanny for a wonderful family but the youngest is starting school full time in august so unfortunately they no longer need me.
My Qualifications
-Level 3 CACHE Diploma Childcare and Education
-Paediatric First Aid Certificate
-NCFE Level 3 cookery and food
-Advanced Child protection
My Availability
All day on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays
Babysitting on Friday evenings, Saturdays and Sundays.
