About Me
Hello, my name is Sarah McCusker, I am a fully qualified Ofsted Registered childminder, and I live in Cheam with my partner and two children. I previously worked as a nanny for 6 years looking after a now 9 & 7 year old and my own two children who are 6 and 3.
My skills and qualities include a sense of fun, creativity, and imagination to provide activities. Understanding of children's physical, social, and emotional development. To develop friendly and open relationships with children and their parents and patience and tolerance with the ability to cope with constant demands for the child's attention.

My Experience
I am a mum of two girls and I have spent a lot of time looking after friends and families children as and when they need me. I started Nannying in 2016 looking after two children, I enjoyed taking them out for the day to the park, playgroups, soft play, farms and day to day activities. I also have experience with babysitting and over night babysitting. Furthermore I have experience with special needs as I helped to look after a family member from birth to 2 years who suffered from infertile osteoporosis which is a very rare condition requiring round the clock care. I was very aware of all his needs and medical requirements.
My Qualifications
I have 9 GCSE's and left school to work full time having undergone various job roles including hairdressing, bar work and babysitting.

Our 2-year-old son absolutely loves going to Sarah's! She made the transition so smooth and comfortable for him that we felt completely reassured about leaving him in her care. Every day, he's treated to fun new activities that are not only entertaining but also help him learn important skills. He constantly lists Sarah and her daughters as some of his favorite people and talks about them all the time.
Our favorite part is receiving the daily updates and photos showing all the great places he has been and the fun activities he's up to. We feel very lucky to have found Sarah and could not recommend her enough!

My son has been going to Sarah over the past year after his school, and it was amazing to see as he just could not wait sometimes to be there. Sarah really tries to create the best environment possible for each kid, and she is really able to engage with them and to understand their needs! She is super!

Sarah has been child minding my daughter since October and both myself and daughter couldn’t be happier with her. She is attentive, caring, fun and most importantly provides a safe, clean environment. My daughter loves going to Sarah’s after school and always comes home happy.

We have been so lucky to meet Sarah last summer :)) since October she’s been taking care of our little one (he is 14 months now), and he feels like at home! Sarah is really competent, always trying to support and provide the type of care the child needs.
When I had to go back to work after my maternity leave I was worried about how my little one would have coped, but all my worries faded away after the first day. She has created the smoothest transition possible for him ( and for me too I would say!), and the bond that she has been able to build with my son is fantastic! I definitely recommend her!! 😄

Sarah looks after my toddler once a week, he absolutely loves his Fridays, Sarah is so caring and attentive, with a clean, comfortable & safe environment I couldn’t have asked for anyone better to look after him!
