Dawn has been looking after my son from when he was about 8 months old since my return to work. She really took the time to meet me first and get to know my son even before he officially started his days with her so he could have a little "phasing in" period (well, it was more a phasing in period for a OTT first-time mother like me (!))

She is always bubbly and enthusiastic, and I think that mood really rubs off on the kids she looks after. Her own children are also really supportive of the kids, and it's almost as if my son has three additional brothers and sisters looking out for him.

Dawn makes sure the kids have sociable time outdoors (soft play, playing and interacting with other kids at playgroups) and has been great at giving me daily updates by text on what my son has been doing.

My son always has the biggest smile to give her when he arrives each day and I can honestly say there hasn't been a tear shed on my departure in the 6 months he has been with her, which says something about how attached to, and comfortable my son is with her.
