I cannot rate Dawn highly enough as a childminder. She looked after our little boy, Matthew, between the ages of 11 months and almost three years between 2011 and 2014. She made our life easier when I went back to work by offering a reassuring, clean, safe and loving environment for Matthew. As a mum of three already, Dawn knew what she was doing and had the confidence to handle all aspects of looking after a baby/toddler four days a week. I never worried about him being in her care as I knew he was safe, clean, cared for and a part of the family. Dawn took the children out to different playgroups and parks each day to allow a change of scene and to mix and play with other children and their carers. Matthew developped really well in her care and we know it was a happy house with lots of laughter. Dawn would often do baking with the children and in the summer months would drive out to farms and to pick strawberries. We moved out of London in June and were gutted to have to say goodbye to Dawn and her family. We are still in contact and I would not hesitate to employ her again to look after my son. Matthew still talks about Dawn and misses her lots, as do we. She became such a huge part of our life as she had been instrumental in turning our baby into a well rounded, chirpy, confident, well mannered little boy.
