I am a caring and nurturing Mum with two sons, one at Durham University and the other who has just graduated from Durham uni.
We relocated to Amble in August 2023 and love living by the coast with all of the wonderful nature that surrounds us.
Being in close proximity to the wonderful wildlife in Northumberland brings me so much joy….
I was a nanny for 10 years before having my own children, working in London, the U.S. and Hong Kong.
During my early twenties, I travelled extensively throughout Asia/Australia/New Zealand (for over two years) which was an amazing experience!
I've worked for lots of fun families including Doctor’s, an artist, a footballer, and the Cadbury family.
For six years, I also worked as a Teaching Assistant in Bahrain (Nursery, Reception, Y2 &Y4).
Working in schools was very fulfilling and rewarding.
In 2025 I am excited to start a course in Meditation and incorporate that into my philosophy of being mindful at work - providing young children with the tools to help manage their emotions, learning how to deal with the ups and downs in life.
I’m hoping to combine this with working for a local family who are looking for a flexible, fun and nurturing nanny….

My Experience
Present - Working for a lovely family with four young children (from February 2024).
Helping Mum to care for mainly a baby and toddler, four days a week. At times caring for the four children sole charge, and working overnight on one occasion.
I will be leaving this role in January 2025.
I cared for a child in Sheffield
for almost five years (Oct 2018 -Aug 2023)
Working 3 days per week, I provided sole charge care for a wonderful little girl until she started school.
Mum is an ICU Consultant at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals.
During Covid, I worked throughout to provide consistent childcare, enabling Mum to focus on her work in the NHS.
I was also a part-time, temporary, sole charge nanny for a gorgeous 5 month old baby in Sheffield two days pw. (December 2022 - July 2023)
