I have been leaving both of my children with Sara for around a year now and she is absolutely outstanding! My little boy has been with Sara since he was 1 and my little girl since she was 4. Initially I was very nervous about leaving my children with a childminder and trusting someone else to take my eldest on the school run. I spoke to a number of childminders however within minutes of being in Sara’s house she put me completely at ease with her professional, confident yet absolutely caring manner. She understood my anxieties and talked us through how we could start with our settling in sessions to help my children adapt at their own pace. There was some real flexibility on Sara’s behalf to ensure my children were as happy as they could be and an extension of the settling sessions to help my youngest (who was particularly clingy) be as comfortable as he could be.

Sara’s house is so comforting and very child oriented that both of my children feel completely at home there. I often just get a wave as they walk in the house and sometimes not even that. It’s such a positive feeling to know that the children are so happy to be there. Sara shares photos on a daily basis to keep us up to date with what is going on and, also keeps a track of which developmental aspects have been met by the children with evidence. During school holidays she ensures there are a wide range of activities which suit the age ranges of the children she has. Days out to aquariums, soft plays, parks, farms, you name it she does it and the children absolutely love it. They even love the stay at home days with films, popcorn, colouring, messy play.

I honestly could not wish for anything more from the person who I trust with my children. I would always recommend Sara’s services for anyone who is looking to have a happy child whilst they are away at work, she is simply amazing!
