My Summary
About Me
Hello, welcome to Hannah’s childminding!
My setting is based on the hygge approach, which places a large emphasis on friendship, emotional and mental well-being, and a sense of cosiness and homeliness.
We also use lots of sensory experiences and resources to support the children to thrive in a calm, fun and stimulating environment, engaging core parts of their brain to help them reach their full and wonderful potential, as happy and confident little people! We also provide plenty of open ended and loose part resources to encourage imagination, curiosity, problem solving and autonomy.
Toys and resources, including cleaning equipment, are bpa and chemical free, so your precious little ones aren’t exposed to any nasties.
It is extremely important to me to offer a warm and positive environment, which aims to foster confident, curious and and well loved children.
For those under 5, I follow the EYFS and do learning journeys in a way that will keep you updated on your little one throughout the day.
