My Experience
I have worked in nurseries, primary schools, after school clubs, holiday clubs and soft play centre organising play activities for children for the day, serving healthy balanced meals, supervising and in some cases feeding children who require additional support or have special needs, assisted reading, helping with homework and ensuing safety both indoors and outdoors and safeguarding. Over the past two years I have worked in mainstream primary schools and within this setting I have had the responsibility to work one to one with children who have additional needs or are diagnosed with autism. This has given me invaluable experience and knowledge and understanding of the needs of children with an ASD diagnosis.
As I currently work in a school setting, I am available to work evenings, weekends, bank holidays and all school holidays.
