Absolutely Fantastic!

Amanda was recommended to me by another mum and I’m so glad she was. My daughter Ivy started with Amanda when she was 22 months old and only wish I had found her earlier for my eldest daughter.
Due to Lockdown, Ivy had not socialised much with other children, especially her own age and she was a little behind with her speech however since starting with Amanda she has come on leaps and bounds and can now even count and identity numbers 1 to 20!
Amanda constantly interacts with the children and they will often go on outings. Her house and garden are clean and safe and yet full of exciting things for the children to do there. She provides them with healthy food aswell as a safe, quiet and comfortable place to nap.
Amanda genuinely cares about the children she looks after and you can see the bond she makes with them. My daughter absolutely adores her and I wouldn’t trust anyone else with her.

Amazing!!!

From the moment we met Amanda we knew she was the best child minder for our son as he was very shy he didn’t benefit from a nursery, his confidence grew so much in just a short amount of time with her and couldn’t wait to go back to Amanda’s house every week, he’s made lots of friends who he still see’s and speaks about often.

He has massively come out of his shell and I believe he wouldn’t have if he had continued at the nursery he was at previously.

As his time with her was coming to an end because of him reaching school age our daughter turned one we didn’t even think twice about where she would go for childcare she was already very comfortable with Amanda as she’d seen her from being days old picking out son up. She is now 18months old and her speech and understanding is amazing.

Amanda is so passionate about her job and treats the children like her own she goes above and beyond to care/ teach and help them in anyway she can I can not recommend her more a real life Mary Popins!

Welcoming and friendly- highly recommended

My grandson attended from a very young age.
He settled in quickly and was extremely happy. He made great progress during his time at Amanda’s. Her home is always welcoming, clean and well organised and he had great fun playing with all the toys available and with the other children there.
Amanda provides a wide range of activities and has a safe enclosed outdoor area. The children are treated to regular outings to the park, trips to the zoo plus local play areas.
Good behaviour is encouraged as well as kindness and compassion to others.
Amanda provides a healthy lunch / tea / snack if required which I know my grandson particularly enjoyed !
I would highly recommend Amanda to anyone as the childcare that she provides goes above and beyond!

The best there is!

Amanda looked after my son for 5 years and I have nothing but great things to say about her. As soon as we met her we knew we had found the right childminder for our son. Amanda made us feel very comfortable leaving him with her from a young age, she was always available if we wanted to check in, would send photos of activities throughout the day, and helped a lot with his early development.

I am so grateful for everything he developed with her over 5 years, from education to behaviour, and to ensure that he was ready for the jump to primary school. He wouldn’t be the same person without her, always leaning something new, or out exploring and coming home with a smile on his face. Amanda is passionate and loves what she does which rubs off on the children in her care, my son still wants to go back in the school holidays! I can’t recommend her enough.

Absolutely Amazing!

Amanda looked after my daughter from 1-4 years old, from July 2017 - July 2020. Being a first time Mummy, I was worried about leaving her initially and as I’d had to move her from another childcare setting, I was concerned she may not adapt easily... but she settled so well into Amanda’s home setting straight away! The outings and activities Amanda does with the children are amazing... she attended forest school, Boogie Beats classes, went to various playgroups etc... giving her an opportunity to mix with children not only in her own childcare setting, but developing social skills and confidence way beyond this too - I noticed her confidence developed so quickly once she started with Amanda. The daily experiences she had whilst in the setting provided so many opportunities for fun and learning... they went to the zoo, visited Salisbury Woods, Stanley Park etc...
Being a Teacher myself, I was so impressed with the learning that Ellie-Mae was exposed to daily with Amanda too... Amanda has an exceptional knowledge of children’s development and as a first time Mummy myself, she was often able to advise me on things I was unsure of. She always kept me well informed of Ellie-Mae’s progress and development, sharing photos and activities that she’d been doing.
Throughout her time with Amanda, Ellie-Mae was so happy and confident, she came home every day telling me what she had been up to that day! She made many friends in her time there and talks about Amanda and her family as if they’re part of our own family - even to this day! I would definitely recommend Amanda to anyone looking for a childminder in the area!
