Better than we could ever have hoped

Susan has looked after our little boy for nearly a year now and we couldn’t be happier with the care and support she has given him. He absolutely loves being with her and has learnt so much since starting there. Susan planned a long and careful transition over a number of weeks when he first started, so that we would all be happy and comfortable, especially due to Covid restrictions meaning that our little boy hadn’t really been without us previously so it was something I was very anxious about. Susan shows so much love and care and attention to detail for all his needs and always listens to all the over protective extra information I give her (which she doesn’t need but makes me feel better!) She provides a real family environment and treats all the children like her own. This year, due to covid restrictions, they have not been able to visit places they would usually go to, but Susan has gone over and above to create an enriching and stimulating, ever changing environment in her home which engages the children of all ages in her care. Their days are full of fun and I love seeing all the pictures of what they have been up to. They have also made the most of local walks and natural environments to go out and about. I always feel like he is 100% safe there and so very happy that I never worry about leaving him, which is something I never thought was possible. I would whole heartedly recommend Susan if you are looking for a second family for your baby.

Even better than Mary Poppins

Susan has looked after my daughter since before she was a year old (she is now 5), and my son since he turned 1 (he is now 2.5). Both of them adore Susan and her own children. When I first looked for a childminder, I wanted someone who would let my daughter play and keep her safe - I never imagined the level of care and attention that Susan gives to each child she looks after. Susan takes brilliant care of them: she provides a loving environment that also encourages their development and own interests through well-planned weekly themes and a wide variety of activities. As well as the daily updates from Susan, my two always come home with plenty to show and tell me about their day.

The only reason we're leaving Susan is because we're moving away from the area, otherwise I would never give up our spaces! I've not yet convinced Susan to move house too, but I'm still working on it...

Organised, kind and loved by our daughter

Susan has looked after our daughter for a number of years and I can't pay her a higher compliment than the fact our daughter talks about her all the time and wants to visit her whenever possible. She has nurtured our daughter, introducing her to other children and allowing her to play in a safe and loving environment. She has also developed a love of nature and exploration in our daughter through regular walks and adventures in the local area.
Susan goes the extra mile in terms of just not caring for the children but also educating them and days at her house have sparked all kinds of new interests. I cannot recommend Susan enough both for the care she takes of our daughter but also for the professionalism with which she approaches her role.

Amazing childminder

Susan has looked after our little boy since he was 9mths and he is now 4, we feel so grateful to have found her, she is loved by us all and we couldn’t recommend her enough. She has a loving, caring nature and two wonderful kids of her own who are great with the kids. And she has so much energy and enthusiasm for children and childminding and shows such dedication to the children’s learning as well. She is also super supportive to us parents so whenever there are challenges or things to work on it always feels like a team effort.

The most amazing childminder.

Susan is absolutely amazing! She has been looking after my little boy since he was a year old, he is now 6!
Since the day my son started with her, he warmed to her immediately and settled with her within hours. He is so loved by her and he absolutely adores her (she is his favourite person). Susan is extremely good with kids from all ages and puts a lot of effort in planning activities, outings, she encourages them to use their imagination, be active and to be kind and respectful to others. She covers all special occasions and she kept us up to date on all progress our son made, aswell as sending us photos of his day. Susan also encourage the kids to eat healthy and make healthy choices.
Susan is a caring and loving person. She is just amazing and provides a kind, loving and safe environment for the children. We are so extremely lucky to have her in our lives and she has become a very special friend to our family. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a childminder.

After school and holiday childcare

Susan is a fantastic childminder who goes out of her way to ensure quality childcare for the children in her care. She ensured that my school age daughter was happy and well entertained even though spending her time with younger children. Susan has a lovely way with all children and is great at providing inspiring play opportunities for all ages. I whole-heartedly recommend Susan for children of all ages - she really is a wonderful childminder!
