Lauren has been looking after our 3-year-old for the past year, and we’ve been so grateful for the care she provides.
Lauren is a fantastic childminder; warm, kind, reliable, and has formed a brilliant relationship with our youngest. She has taken time to understand our child’s needs and always makes sure he feels comfortable, supported, and happy, planning activities that he will feel excited about. Lauren has supported our child through potty training, and trying (and enjoying!) a range of foods that I would never be able to get him to eat at home! He loves attending Lauren’s setting, and comes home full of lovely stories about trips and activities that have made his day.
Our child attends Lauren’s setting twice a week, and at times understandably can be a little upset at drop off. Lauren’s calm, gentle yet confident manner has helped to reassure our son, and build his confidence and resilience. This makes the start to a busy morning rush to work much easier (for all of us!)
Lauren keeps us updated with what our child is up to, and we always feel confident knowing they’re in such caring hands. We highly recommend Lauren as a childminder.

Lauren has been looking after my 18month old daughter for the last 4 months. My daughter absolutely loves her and I feel at complete ease when my daughter is there. She always goes above and beyond and is extremely reliable.

This childminder cancelled on me via text 1 month before she was due to start full time childcare for my 1 year old son, leaving me in an untenable position with my employer. Please be careful when making commitments with this childminder as there are clearly reliability issues.

I appreciate your frustration but this review is factually incorrect. We did not agree a full time space, nor did we have any contracts or anything in place. It is also closer to 2 months notice. As I mentioned to you, I had to do this due to my own personal circumstances and having to put my own child first, I had even offered to help find you a space elsewhere. Again, I can only apologise that this had to happen and appreciate your frustration but I did really just have to put my family first.
I cannot recommend Lauren highly enough. After losing faith in a nursery environment, she provided exactly what my son needed—a true home-from-home. From the very start, she created a warm, safe, and nurturing space where he felt completely comfortable and happy.
Lauren ensures the children get fresh air daily, always taking them out for little adventures. My son absolutely loved going to her home and still associates it with the special treats she introduced him to—like his occasional babychino!
Her setting is always clean, safe, and welcoming. She kept me regularly updated, giving me complete peace of mind. She even prepared meals that I would never have thought to cook at home, and somehow, he would eat them with no fuss!
Lauren is truly amazing, and I feel so lucky that my son got to experience her care. If you’re looking for someone who genuinely loves and nurtures the children she looks after, she is the one! I would recommend her to all of my friends looking for childcare. xx

My son started with Lauren in December - just before his first birthday.
Our original set up was 2 days with Lauren and 2 days in Nursery.
The nursery settling in sessions were rocky. He didn’t eat, didn’t drink his bottle and barely slept. I dreaded sending him until finally pulling him out.
Whereas the days he was with Lauren, he followed his usual routine and settled so quickly.
Within two months - he doesn’t even moan when we hand him over anymore showing he is happy to spend the day with her.
Lauren provides me with updates both on the app and via WhatsApp and always asks how I want her to navigate a situation.
Her home is always clean and tidy - with toys rotated regularly as well as day trips to soft play and daily walks to the park.
He eats nutritious meals with the occasional treat - as well as opening to eating foods he would refuse to eat at home.
I couldn’t not be happier with the care Lauren provides - she is an extension of our family!
