About Me
Hello my name is Kath, I have been a childminder for over 20 years and during this time I have looked after a variety of age of children from 3 weeks to 14 years, and being a mother myself and a grandmother I have newborn experience too.
I am aware it is hard for any parent to leave their child in the care of a stranger so I try to make the environment as homely and welcoming as possible for both the child and the parent. Parents are more than welcome to come and meet me and view my environment before deciding to book and I also offer free settling in hours for the child before their start date.
I offer before and after school care, from a local school in the area also and I have been working through the pandemic helping these children with their home learning. I use the Early Years curriculum and provide opportunities through play to help children learn and grow.
I am flexible with my parents and will try my best to adapt care needs to individual children and their families.
Within my price I include food for the children which varies from home cooked meals to finger foods, I am happy to provide food to the weaning stage your child is at.
I enjoy taking the children to the park and baby groups such as baby sensory. I hold a full driving license and have access to my own car.
