My name is Lori, and I am a 39-year-old childcare worker from Australia. I moved to the UK 8 years ago to join my husband, and I am now a UK citizen. We live in Letchworth with our 2.5 year old little boy.
I have 17 years on/off experience working with children both in the childcare industry and as a nanny for the past 8 years, as well as when I lived in the UK previously. I have experience with and I am comfortable with all age groups and like to think of myself as a loving, fun, firm but caring Carer/Educator who is genuinely interested in helping children to grow and develop.
I am currently looking for either a 1 or 2 day position, preferably full days, and have Wednesday and Fridays available.

-Certificate 3 in early Childcare and education,
-Studied/worked as a diploma (level 3) qualified Educator for the past 8 years.

Half finished diploma in early Childcare and education (happy to discuss why I was unable to finish my studies)
I have worked at a diploma qualified position as a room leader for all but 6 mths of my childcare career.

Lori has been working with us since January and my daughters fell in love with her straight away. Children know who is good for them, and Lori is not just great, she's magical. She knows how to deal with children with the right balance of discipline and love.
She has so much energy to take them everywhere, always looking for new activities in and out of the house to stimulate and entertain the kids.
Although she had much more experience with toddlers than babies when she joined, she was a natural with my 4-month-old daughter.
She has also re-designed both girls bedrooms and keeps everything perfectly tidy.
She is much more than super nanny, she is a super person, with a big and genuine heart, who will care for your children the same way you do.
We will miss her too much, but due to the arrival of our third baby, we need to have a live-in nanny.
