Komal Patel cares for my 4 year old daughter after school and more recently full days during the school closures due to Covid.
Komal is an excellent childminder, full of passion for learning and caring for children. Komal offers my daughter a range of educational and creative activities to do throughout the day. From painting to story time, puzzles, pretend play, phonics and number tasks. My daughter never has a dull moment with Komal, she’s always super excited to tell me how she spent her day when I collect her.
Komal makes each holiday/festive season exciting for my daughter with doing Easter, Halloween, Diwali and Christmas creative tasks. My daughter comes home with so many wonderful creations from Easter hats to Christmas decorations.
Komal also takes my daughter to the park and on nature walks and always makes it an exciting trip. Talking about what they see on the walk, the sounds and colours. There is always learning involved in all the activities she does.
Komal also offers a variety of delicious snacks in the afternoon. Such as vegetable pasta, Indian snacks, wraps, fruit, milk and more.
I completely trust my daughter in Komal’s care and I highly recommend her services. After every day or afternoon my daughter has spent with Komal, Komal sends me an overview of all the tasks and activities my daughter has done in the day along with photos. I’m so pleased to have found a wonderful carer for my daughter. It’s a complete peace of mind.

We have our first child and came to London a few years ago. We do not know much about the culture and everything here. Komal was the first child minder I found and after meeting with her for the first time I felt comfortable and I could trust her and so I made the decision to send my son at 16 months old to be with her. I feel very safe leaving my son with her from 8:30am to 5:30pm on weekdays. Komal is very patient and pays a lot of attention to detail. My son learnt a lot of new things from her, he has had a lot of activities indoors as well as outdoors to play and learn everyday. He enjoys the practical activities such as painting, playing with toys, cars etc. Every morning he looks happy and looking forward to getting ready to go to the child minder. She has been excellent in teaching my son to read books, he now shows interest whenever he sees a book and is happy to try and read it or accounting numbers, which makes me really proud. I am very glad that she looks after my son and overall she is doing a really great job.

My son aged 3 loves going to Komal and feels very welcome, he takes part in various activities which improves his learning and skills. Komal is very attention to detail and determined to provide highest care possible. We feel very safe leaving him with her. Komal also now picks up my daughter aged 7 from school and offers after school care. We are very greatful to Komal knowing that we can always rely on her.

I have recently returned back to work and was looking for someone to provide childcare for my three year old son during the school holidays. Initially I was a little nervous as I was unsure how well my son would adapt to this new environment, however he settled very quickly thanks to Komal's warm and friendly manner. Her premises are very safe and clean with a wonderful outdoor space which my son absolutely loves. Komal always has fun educational activities for my son to get involved with as well as quiet times to relax and read story books. Her pastoral care is excellent and my son always looks forward to seeing her.

i start to put my daughter to daycare when she was 16 months as i am going to have the second baby and she was very attached to me. Aslo i want her to be independence and I can have sometime for myself.
The first week was very difficult, my daughter cried after i left but KOMAL is very kind and patient, she helped my daughter got used with new environment quickly with love and caring. the kids have a lot of activities there to play and learn. Also KOMAL and me have good contact so i don’t worry about my daughter. after 2 weeks, my daughter came back home happily. she learnt a lot of new things and be independent. i have more time for myself to rest. every morning she wake up and gets ready to go to daycare, she loves her teacher a lot. i can see a lot improvement from my daughter.

My children were really happy to go to Komal. She does various activities to keep their minds busy. My 10 year old and 5 year old both enjoyed a lot. While she gives them opportunity to do free play, they are in a very disciplined environment where they follow a schedule. She does indoor and outdoor activities and sometimes includes local walks which is so refreshing for the kids.Though I had to send packed lunch, but she always warmed it and served them properly. Along with it she provided fruits and yoghurt to the kids which is included in her package as a bonus. She does lots of age related activities. She encouraged my 5 year old to do activities that included phonics.I feel completely at peace of mind when i am at work and my kids are with Komal. I know they are safe and sound. I am glad that she looks after my children during holidays.She is doing a great job!

My 4 year old son has been attending Komal Childcare facility for nearly 6months, he has made excellent progress in her After school care environment.
My son showed no interest in books or pronouncing sounds of words and complex letters, however Komal has changed this around totally. He picks up books, wants to read a variety of both traditional stories to science books. He has developed his speech and letter sounds are excellent.
He enjoys the practical activities, painting and messy play. Also now tastes a variety of fruit, veg and other healthy food options, which he previously showed no interest in.
Very happy mum with progress my son has made from attending this childcare provision, plus lots more. Kind Regards Champa

My son often goes to Komal's place. He is always excited and enjoys going there. Komal perfectly knows how to keep the balance of giving them playful and quality time alongside making sure the importance of the learning. I admire her professionalism. I strongly recommend her to other parents.

My ten year old daughter goes to komal's after school 2 days a week. She has a fantastic time and is always happy to be there. She gets to participate in a wide range of activities and is provided with varied, healthy and tasty snacks.

Komal has the perfect setting for any primary school child, ranging from location, meal plans to activities and equipment. My daughter is in Reception and has been going to Komal since September, she asks me if she can go everyday as she absolutely loves it and has tried and tasted new variety of food options.
As a mum I am constantly asking Komal for advice on activities, recipes as my daughter is always referring to all the new things she learns there.
I know I will be sending my younger child there very soon, and highly recommend her secure and amazing childcare setting.
