About Me
Hello,
I am a qualified primary school teacher and before having my children (10 months, 5 & 8 years old) I worked at Robertswood in Chalfont St Peter as a classroom teacher in years 2, 3 & 4. I currently live in Chalfont st Giles with my 3 children, dog and tortoise!
After having my son, I decided to take a break from teaching for a few years and I did nannying & private tutoring. I worked with my first family for 2 years and my last family for 4 years. I am no longer able to stay with my current family as they have grown up! With nannying, I have made some amazing, long term relationships with families.
The tutoring I have done has ranged from ages 6 to 12 where I have taught both maths and English. I am very keen to take on more tutor work as it is a privilege to be able to work one on one with a child. It allows me to adapt to the specific needs of the child and watch them progress all whilst having fun along the way.
I love being with children & baking, playing games, reading books and going on outdoor adventures.
I am happy to help with light house work, ironing, batch cooking, dog walking, dropping children at clubs etc whatever a particular family needs to make life easier!

My Availability
I can be fairly flexible on days.
The only times I cannot do are before 9am. (Unless you live in Chalfont at Giles and your children go to the same school as mine then anything is possible!)
There is also potential to do every other Saturday.

Lauren worked for our family in the role of part time nanny for a period of 18 months.
It was my first experience of having a nanny as Iād previously had help from family.
Lauren was one of the first people I met in my search and we clicked instantly. Likewise, she clicked with my 3 children, which made this new experience less daunting and returning to work a lot easier.
Lauren is kind, caring, fun loving, flexible/punctual and disciplines fairly.
We had a great working relationship and thanks to Lauren, I can say we have had a very positive first experience of Nannying.
