Finding Aliesha was the best thing that happened to my toddler boy and I. I am a full time dental hygienist and self employed. Unfortunately, when Thomas was a baby I had to return to work and decided to try Thomas at a nursery. Thomas never settled there (I was often asked to pick him up during work) and after a year i decided to try him with a childminder. He attended a childminder's setting prior to Aliesha's and yet again screamed,clung to me and cried on drop offs which caused me to worry and stress daily. Thomas was let go from the first childminder's setting which left me quite disappointed and worried as I would need to find a new setting and start the settling in process all over again. Aliesha was recommended to me and I was reluctant due to the travel which is not as convenient as I would like. I decided to give it a try for a couple of weeks and see how things went. After only a couple of days I was amazed!! Thomas did not cry or cling to me at all on drop offs for the first time in his life! Unbelievable!! I decided the journey was worth it just to know Thomas was happy and well looked after and enjoyed being at Aliesha's. Aliesha calmed Thomas and showed him comfort and created a fun positive atmosphere. Thomas has never cried/clung on drop offs again!
Aliesha alwayssends photos daily to me of the foods the children eat and the activities the children do which are so amazing! Thomas loves all the arts and crafts and trips to the zoo and indoor play areas, learning things, planting things...the list is endless. He always tells me and my 2 daughters about the fun he has daily. I wish Thomas could of started with Aliesha right from the beginning when he was a baby. He will start school 09/2018 and I just wish he could stay with Aliesha as I know that he is happy and cared for. I used to think the best thing for children were to go to a nursery but having Thomas attend this childminding setting has changed my view 100%!
Thomas loves to be with his family more than anyone else. My older girls, 14 and 10 asked Thomas the other day..."do you love Alisha? Do you want to go to Alisha's?" Thomas replied, "yes i love Aleisha's, drop me first." I couldn't believe what I heard.
Aliesha is so lovely, kind, and caring to the children she cares for. Best childminder in my opinion! Sad Thomas cannot stay due to starting school soon.
