Joy has looked after my Son, for over a year and a half, until he recently starting school.
He’s absolutely loved spending time with her and being within her setting. He had previously attended a day nursery where he cried every morning for a year and when he switched, it was clear to see how happy and excited he was to go to Joy every day. Even his tantrums, which I had been experiencing at home, went away very quickly.
His days were always packed with fun- playing with the other children, taking long walks outside in the local parks and meeting with other childminders and their kids for fun group activities. He got to chill at the end of the day in Joy’s lovely home with her family around and his good friend Joey the dog, who he adores.
I felt enormous confidence leaving him with Joy, as she had an incredible manor, being kind, loving, calm, patient but also firm and orderly. He truly thrived and I saw quick development in his independence, good manners and willingness to try new foods. Knowing he was safe and happy meant the world to me.
I loved getting the photos throughout the day of him enjoying himself and I absolutely treasure all the art and crafts that he made there and brought home for us. The holidays were always marked with something fun and special for the kids to enjoy.
I would fully recommend Joy to any parent. I don’t know how she does it! We were very lucky to find her and would choose her over and over again!
