Fabulous Childminder

Alice is a real gem. She has recently started looking after my special needs son on weekends, and has been a reassuringly safe pair of hands. She is enigmatic, proactive, caring and engaging. She asks the right questions, gives added suggestions, and provides consistent, fantastic care. I could not recommend Alice more highly.

What can I say? I’m very torn, I want to leave a bad review so we can keep her all to ourselves but I simply can’t! Our son (and us) were completely besotted with Alice. She understood how to communicate with our quite strong willed little boy and he was sad to see her leave. Normally I’m a little anxious leaving him with someone for the first time but I had absolutely no concerns at all and was given lovely videos and updates on their playtime. Please please please come back and see us again soon xxxxxxxx

First time leaving our baby boy

We were due to go to a wedding for 10 hours where no children were allowed and needed a sitter for this.
Our 6 month old baby boy is exclusively breastfed and often refuses the bottle even when it's breast milk so I was worried he'd go on hunger strike and be inconsolable.
We booked a trial sit for 4 hours before the big one.
Alice Sabine arrived early and immediately took him in her arms while I walked around the house showing her various things and what was needed. She could sense how nervous I was and put us at ease telling us about herself, her own children and her experience.
We went out for dinner for the first time without our boy!
She sent us messages with updates on what he was doing. Played with him, bathed him, fed him(!) and put him to bed. She fed him again when he woke a few hours later and she stayed in the room with him when he slept.
When the day of the wedding came I was so much more relaxed and pretty much just left her to it! Came home early because we missed him but knew he was in good hands the whole time! Would definitely recommend. Her love for children and passion for what she does shines through!

Great first Experience

I had a babysitter for the first time, so was a bit worried. And Sabine made more than I expected. All the time she sent me photos and videos of what they were doing. They did the evening routine, and when I got home all the toys were in their places, and my daughter was in bed. I didn't have to do anything, just have a rest after work.

Highly recommend!

Exceptional Babysitting Experience for Our Special

We recently had the privilege of entrusting our precious daughter to a babysitter for the very first time, and we couldn't have been happier with the exceptional care and attention Sabine provided. From the moment she arrived, it was evident that she was dedicated to creating a safe, nurturing environment for our child.

She arrived a generous 20 minutes before the scheduled start time, taking the initiative to connect with our child and make her feel comfortable. This thoughtful gesture instantly put our minds at ease, especially considering it was our first time leaving her in someone else's care.

Communication was nothing short of exceptional. Regular updates in the form of pictures and short videos sent directly to my phone allowed us to stay connected and reassured throughout our time away. These glimpses into our daughter's day not only eased any initial apprehension we may have had but also created a bond of trust.

In addition to her outstanding care during the session, she went above and beyond by sharing invaluable tips and insights for caring for our daughter moving forward. Her thoughtful guidance demonstrated her commitment not only to the present moment but also to our child's ongoing well-being.

Fantastic!

What a great nanny! On her first day my toddler was unwell screaming and crying, straight away she took him from me and calmed him down, she took my other two children and bathed them. I was very stunned how she did not know us but was able to engage with them as if they had known her for a long time.
It was very important for me to find someone who is good with children and helps set structure and routine and she did just that! I totally feel relaxed knowing my children are in good hands and she keeps my place clean and tidy☺ which is a very big plus for me! Thank you so much for your help and I love the fact you are now apart of our family. X

a God send

i booked Sabine quite late after being let down for the next morning and she was even better than i could ever have expected. She was prompt and so engaging with our 2 kids. Our oldest is 4 and youngest 6 months, exclusively breastfed. They both settled well with her and had 2 days of activities and care. i truly appreciated all the updates she sent through the day as i was a little nervous leaving the baby. i couldnt recommend her any higher. Will definitely be booking her again.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Put simply Sabine is the baby whisperer, she goes out of her way to understand the individual needs of my child. She has been a God send and I love that she loves what she does, she loves kids and it shows in the way she interacted with my 3 month old daughter. Sabine is patient and does not shy away from a challenge. She is a brilliant communicator and very accessible (watsapp, sms, phone) she is also able and ready to answer any question thrown at her. Her extensive academic knowledge of children and her lived experience looking after children coupled with her amazing punctuality( Sabine has never been late to babysit for me) and compassion made Sabine the perfect candidate for me. I HIGHLY recommend her !!!!
I don’t know what I would have done without her. She gave me back my Saturdays 😊

I can't recommend Sabine highly enough

Sabine has transformed my evenings with my 2.5yo and 5 month old daughters. She comes to help me around bed time and we are so lucky to have her. She is so experienced with children and babies, she's proactive, diligent, very hard-working and extremely caring. Her knowledge of child development is impressive and she's passionate about this. She anticipates the needs of the children and mine too, going above and beyond to help. She's reliable, punctual and professional. I feel so fortunate to have found her! Thanks Sabine! X
