My Experience
I have been working in childcare for 5 and a half years and I am currently a toddler room leader for Bright Horizons. I have also had 3 years experience working as a Baby room leader for a small private nursery.
I often work as a babysitter for families of children I have cared for. Babysitting hours vary therefore I have experience entertaining children, providing fun activities, preparing meals, bathing, sleep time etc.
A relevant course i’ve participated in is 'Baby Room Project' which was solely based around how we can support babies and learn about their development.
I have previously worked as a child’s face painter at various child related events such as school fetes, parties etc. (which is always very exciting for children!)
As well as studying childcare, I have studied art and design which has aided me to provide creative, fun and exciting activities for the children I care for.
