Sam has been minding my two sons since December 2013 they were 3 and 1 when they started. Sam has many years of experience as a mother and a child minder, has a network of other child minders in Petts Wood and regularly meets up at different locations so the children interact with lots of other children. Sam cooks fresh food every day and encourages them to eat their vegetables, offering various snacks. My eldest has a nut allergy and Sam has experience in preparing food for allergies.

Sam’s home is lovely, there is a play room with lots of toys but the toys are tidied away in cute Ikea cupboards so the children aren’t overwhelmed, she has a big garden which the boys love playing in the warmer months. Sam is patient and caring, the children are always her priority. She is fun and loving although has a direct approach to disciplining behaviour and the children know the house rules and obey them.

I love the ‘babydays’ diary where I can read what they’ve been up to, what they’ve eaten and pictures she may have taken throughout the day. My children will both be at school from September so sadly we’re leaving Sam in September but we will stay in touch and see Sam on the school run and in the holidays, we would highly recommend her as a child minder.
