Outstanding Childminder

Bally is the best childminder we could have hoped to find. After being unfortunate with previous placements and having to move our daughter a couple of times within a short time, we wanted to find the perfect match for our daughter to stay with until starting pre-school. Bally was that person. She treated our daughter as part of her family, providing a safe, happy, healthy, nurturing environment, where our daughter was excited to attend each morning. Bally ensures that children in her care have a range of experiences throughout the week, visiting: the library, various toddler groups, the park, and meeting up with other local childminders. She also does crafting; painting; play to encourage fine motor skills and brain development; and learning activities to engage children in her care. On our daughter’s last day, Bally presented us with a scrap book of things which our daughter had made over the previous 15 months, despite the fact that she had also sent crafts / cards / paintings home to us almost every week. Due to the small setting, our daughter formed a close bond with Bally and her family, as well as the other children within the setting; she thrived within the environment created by Bally. I would not hesitate to place any future children in Bally’s care, or to recommend her to anyone and everyone - she is a genuinely good person and an absolutely fantastic childminder who we feel very lucky to have met. Thank you Bally, you are amazing!

The best childminder we could have wished for!

Bally has absolutely been the best childminder that we could have imagined, having worked in nurseries myself for 10 years now we thought that this was the best route for our son but it wasn't and he's never been happier since being looked after by Bally. We knew we were off to a good start right from our first meeting with Bally, so welcoming, beautiful home and our son was happy playing straight away, even the settling in period once he properly started was so quick! Bally offers everything, regular trips to the local library for rhyme time, toddler groups, meeting up with other childminders, trips to the park, walks or even just being in a lovely home environment, our son very much likes his creature comforts so he loves being in a home from home, he can free flow from the garden to the house with plenty of other activities on offer. Bally has also been amazing when we were toilet training our son, so supportive and has even helped with a really smooth transition now from the potty to the big toilet. Bally offers a thorough handover at the end of the day and always takes plenty of lovely photos which are always nice to see! Bally will be incredibly missed by all of us, especially our son, but he is 3 now so will be starting at his school preschool in September. Without any hesitation if we have any more children then Bally will 100% be our first port of call!

Simply the best childminder!

Bally is simply the best childminder I could have asked for for my daughter. I went back to work when my daughter was just 10 months old and Bally has taken excellent care of her for 4.5 days a week until almost her 3rd birthday. Bally made the transition for me going back to work a smooth one and was great at getting my daughter settled in. Bally provided regular updates on progression and development throughout, along with photographs and messages during the day to let you know how things are going.

Bally and my daughter have a wonderful bond and we cannot thank her enough for the excellent childcare and support she has provided to us over the last couple of years.

I would ( and have) recommended Bally to all of my friends and family.

Home from home

We wanted our son to have a home environment rather than sending him to nursery when he turned 1. We visited Ballys home and felt like it was home from home, the perfect environment for him. Our son loved Bally and her family she made us all feel welcome. She would always keep us informed about how he was doing during the day and was very thorough with his paperwork. She wasn't just someone who looked after our child she also helped him with his development. She was always honest with us and didn't just tell us what we wanted to hear if there were any issues she would let us know straight away.
I have recommended her to family and friends and would not hessitate to do so again in the furture.

Amazing childminder

Bally is just the most wonderful childminder. She looked after my son for nearly 2 years, 2 days a week, when he was 1- 3 years old.
He absolutely adored Bally and her family. He was very picky about who he liked, but he loved Bally from the minute he walked in and he made himself right at home from day 1.

She helped with his development greatly as he is a august baby. She kept me updated all the time with what he was up to and looked after him like he was her own.
Her home is absolutely spotless and so well catered for, for all ages.
Sadly Covid cut his time with Bally short but he still talks about her and we see her now and then. I highly recommend her to anyone who needs to have their child loved and cared for while they are at work.
