Our daughter, attended George’s childminding setting from three months old until she started pre-school at age 3.5 years. As you can imagine, leaving a child this young was a scary time for us both but as soon as we met George we knew we had found the right person for the job. She put us at ease and our daughter settled in straight away, and George soon became a part of our family as much as we became a part of hers.
It has been a wonderful experience watching our daughter grow under George’s care, she really is an amazing childminder, and friend. She has been more than happy to answer all of our parenting questions and goes out of her way to ensure that all of her children grow and develop. Our daughter surprises everyone she meets with how outgoing she is, and her willingness to talk to new people. Her social skills are all down to how George raises the children as a part of the community.
We get daily updates from George, which is the highlight of our day. Seeing all the fun activities that have been set up – daily yoga, ‘school work’, reading, cooking just to mention a few.
If we could have left our daughter with George throughout all her school years I would have, the only reason we had to leave was the fact we live in Hinckley so can’t use her local school (we chose George over local childminders because of how comfortable we felt with her).
I highly recommend George, if she has a space for your child – take it!

Gemma was our second childminder when our primary childminder was on holiday. I knew that Gemma worked with our primary childminder so knew our daughter would know her and her other children and her routine which helped with any transitions.
Gemma was amazing with our daughter and helped her to grow into the wonderful child she is. Gemma was always willing to answer any of our questions and help out whenever she could.
Although we only used Gemma on a part-time basis we felt that she was just as settled and welcomed into Gemma's family as much as any other child.
I highly recommend Gemma to any other parent.
