About Me
Hello! My name is Isabella Sheehan. I lived in the South of Ireland until I was 12 years old and then moved to North London, where I have lived until moving to university. I am 20 years old and currently attending Kingston University, training to be a primary education teacher (BA Primary Education year 2). I am extremely enthusiastic and eager to gain more experience with all aged children. In addition to this I have grown up in a busy house and being one of four children I have been an active help in bringing up my younger siblings.
My Experience
For the last four years I have sought out to have as much experience working with children as possible. I regularly babysat my neighbour's two children of 4 and 9 for a year before moving onto work experience in a range of different schools beginning with four and five year olds and moving up to 9 year olds. Weekly I taught 12 and 13 year olds (year 7) drama whilst completing my A-Levels. Moreover I have in the past two years worked closely for 2 months in a year 2 class and have now just finished 2 months working in a year 4 class, whereby I have ended up teaching over 60% of the lessons everyday. Throughout my experience I have gained an indepth and close professional relationship with both the children and the adults.
My Qualifications
Duke of Edinburgh bronze and silver award.
OCR Level 2 National First Award in ICT (Merit).
Safeguarding 2018 qualification.
My Availability
As I am currently in my last term of second year, I am available on weekends and most Mondays/Wednesdays/Fridays. However, I will be finishing university in the second week of May and will be free until September 5 days a week.
